A bit random story wise but….. meh

Tami

Wonderful reaction! I've really enjoyed experiencing this story again with you. I'm glad you understood why David left. A lot of reactors get really mad when he leaves, but I saw it just the way you did. Definitely read the books, they're so good! And you'll get to meet so many other great characters that you'll be meeting on the show next season!

Some of my favorite interviews are the ones with Connor, Hudson, and Jacob Tierney. You get to see what a fun relationship Jacob has with them. If you're looking for another series to watch, I'd like to recommend Interview with the Vampire/The Vampire Lestat. It's amazing.

Yay. Made my day. I didn't really want to get up and do housework, then I saw the notice come in that you had posted this. So no housework for an hour or so. ha. Well, it's over. For now. Now we all have to wait til next year for season 2. Oh, if you were fake crying, then you are in the wrong field of work. You need to become an actress. You're Emma Thompson level if it was fake. I'd say give it a week and then watch it all again. I also wish I could see it as if I'd never seen it before, mostly because a few things were spoiled for me, by me, and I wish I hadn't. That said, it is almost better watching it again - or again and again and again - because it lets you notice all sorts of things you missed the first time. Or, things that happen in earlier episodes hit different when you know the whole story. Things like when Shane finds Ilya on the roof at the end of #1 and says something about it not being worth jumping over. I knew Shane was in the wrong the first time I saw it, but the second time, realizing that he also accidentally triggered Ilya with that comment, made it more impactful. I am sorry you have had to deal with stuff like that. I've never gotten to that point, but I know a couple people who have and I may have had a small part in helping one of them through it. Not sure if this show helps or not if you can relate so closely to certain parts. I'd like to think it does since I don't normally like movies that make me cry, but the tears this show forces out of you are worth it. As you said, it's just a great great show. We are all truly lucky that Jacob saw the potential in turning Rachel's book into a serious tv show. Then every single possible thing fell into place perfectly after that. Watching people discover it's greatness have given me so much happiness. You were a joy to watch. Well, yet another long thing from me. I can't help it. I'm just very happy you watched it and that I found you to watch it along with you.

💛💛💛 A great thing about this show is that it stands up to multiple rewatches. It hits different every time.

I love the Shelf Aware podcast! Hours and hours of fun discussion of HR! Highly recommend!

I've watched it literally hundreds of times and I still find more details!!! What fun!

Thank you Kat. So glad you enjoyed it. It is really special. This story heals wounds and changes brain chemistry. I don't watch a lot of media. When this came out I hadn't watched tv in months. It's such a human story. You don't have to be queer or a professional athlete or russian or autistic to find something to relate to. So many layers. So beautifully made. Much love.

My wife and I have been watching your reactions and absolutely have cried alonf with you! We would love to gift you the kindle Books if that’s something you could utilize! Not sure how that would work but if possible we want to share this fantastic series with you!!

Lorie

I think you might love Young Royals!

Time Lord

Omg this is so sweet of y'all!!! First and foremost: Thank you both for being here with me through my journey. It's been such a pleasure having such wonderful folks along for the ride. Second: Someone just gifted my the first book via ebook on Kindle! So I think there's a way to do it, but I'm not exactly sure how they went about it!

Quite simply the most beautiful show to ever exist

Nicole Mazza

Definitely a great idea to watch interviews. Connor is especially a surprise because he's a bit like a puppy -- hyper, always smiling, etc. COMPLETELY different than Ilya.

Nicole Mazza

YESSSS! 100% my fave show rn!

Also, it has Jacob Anderson, who was also in the 'Flux' season of Doctor Who as Vinder. I am such a massive stan for him!

I enjoyed these HR reactions greatly. My only pet peeve is reactors that have the subtitles on. Their eyes constantly dart up and down and they react to the subtitle before the character ever says the line. Looking forward to Season 2. It was leaked they are currently filming 12 episodes. So that is possibly a longer (perhaps split) Season 2 or Season 2 and 3.
