I still think 'Get Galactica' is serviceable. Trouble is, I hardly watched it when it was on. I can't think of anything else! I remembered Bok incidentally because he has the same name as a villain from Classic Who - although, I can't remember if you've seen that serial so here I curtail my description. . . Spoilers!

Bruce Bromley

Yea! TNG is back for it's final month. Ladies, have you, or will you react to the finale as a single or double episode as you did with the first episode(s) to this journey? You can't remember "The Battle? It was only during you Fan Theory days, many moons ago. 😁

Joe Concepts

"The Battle" was the previous episode. You may better remember it as the "Picard Has a Bad Headache" episode from Season 1.

Firefly24601

I did remember Bok. But I'd seen "the Stargazer episode" many many many times on repeats over the years.

Mike

It's so great to have you guys back to finish of TNG. Thank you for sticking with it all this time.

Data Cable

I am eternally confusing the title of this one with the previous ep ("Firstborn,") since they aired consecutively, the titles are essentially interchangeable, and you'd *think* the Klingon-centric ep would be the one with "blood" in the title.

Robert Gendron

Loved the shoutout to the red-haired security officer. Pretty sure that's Patricia Tallman, a stuntwoman on TNG who shows up from time to time as a security officer or alien. She only had a line or two in all her appearances, but went on to play Lyta Alexander on Babylon 5 and I only found out about her stuntwork years after both shows ended and I keep an eye out for whenever she's in the background of a scene.

Firefly24601

Nah, Pat Tallman is a lot... well, taller than that actor. 😁 That was Amy Pietz, who has been in 1 episode of a billion different shows.

Nolan

That confusion is what led me to watching this episode, because when I was first getting into Trek, I kept hearing about this DS9 thing and was fascinated and thought one of these episodes had the space station in it. Consequently, I found this one pretty disappointing.

Nolan

Reruns probably helped fans a lot on the "Remember this villain from back then" plots. Plus fans recording episodes on blank VHS's so they had a library probably helped too. Also ironically enough, another reaction channel just recently started TNG and just put up their reaction to "The Battle" on Youtube today as well. I only ended up watching this episode for the first time cause I thought it was the previous one, lol. So kinda a lackluster one to return on. Oh well, haha.

Christian Rennie

They might have remembered immediately if Bok said, "Hero of Maxia!" instead of just Picard. That is what I remembered the most about that episode second only to the "Picard Maneuver."

Makhiel

TNG is back! Gotta admit I was a bit weirded out by seeing Kat on the right side of the screen, it's really been a while.

Artemis Zeidman

Awww, yeah! Trek is back, baby! Let’s cruise toward that series finale.

Joe Concepts

You're watching these all in order with no repeats. But by season 7 they were already showing old TNG in syndicated reruns, so some us were watching a lot of previous episodes while new ones were still on the air.

LaRoy Murrell

Whether you do it for the channel or just watch for yourselves, I cannot recommend Lower Decks enough. It's so fun!

Travis Boyle

Don't feel bad. The only reason I remembered The Battle is because I thought the Stargazer was an awesome ship. I guess Get Fracked is the obvious choice for Battlestar Galactica.

Chris Neumann

You know what's weird? There's another Trek reaction channel that just happened to release their reaction to The Battle TODAY. The ods of that are kind of nuts.

Chris Neumann

I will say, I do remember Bok is because I had The Battle on VHS. But you also have to remember that while it's been four years for you and six since the original aired, that episode had probably shown up in syndication loops dozens of times. So many of us experienced TNG is those repeating loops with a new episode once a week.

Kane Is Able

Everyone wants them to rush to Lower Decks, and I've seen seen people recommend jumping to season 3 of Picard. Both shows reference all of Star Trek. They really need to get a lot more Trek knowledge before they can truly appreciate those shows.

Jay S

Regarding Bok, what makes it even harder to remember him is that the actor who played him here is not the same one who played him in "The Battle" (and even with the Ferengi makeup he does look different). The actor in this one is Lee Arenberg, who Pirates of the Caribbean fans may know as Pintel (one of Barbosa's henchmen).

David Brown

Even if we didn't remember Bok, the original episode 'The Battle' was him seeking revenge for something that happened 7 years before the show even started. Back in Season 1 we would have had no way of remembering the incident in which Picard destroyed the ship commanded by Bok's son. I retrospect, back then it could be looked at as a sequel to an episode that never happened. Just think of this as a standalone, and ignore the fact that it's a sequel to an earlier episode.

David Brown

I believe they were talking about the redhead at 19:39. Amy has black hair. But I still agree that it might not be Pat.

Travis Boyle

I think Paula would do alright. I believe She has watched DS9. Not sure she watched Voyager. Strange New Worlds might be the best option. Just need to watch the Menagerie.

Firefly24601

Oh! Yes, that definitely could be Pat Tallman with a wig on.

Ben Chan

Wow - referencing a plot from season one? That really takes me Bok... 😁

Travis Boyle

If you are thinking about watching Picard, Kat can use that as an excuse to watch JJ Abrams 2009 Star Trek since a chunk of its story plays into Picard season one.

adamisajoker .

Jason gives me Bill Pullman vibes. Or that guy that played Kyle Reese in The Terminator.

Ryan George

I do hope you guys react to Picard s3 fingers crossed 🤞 enjoying your content😊!

Carrie Schwent

Insert rimshot here! Well punned.😁
