Cat wearing the same outfit because the simulant actors were only available for a single day and turning that into a Cat joke is just masterful. Easily the best clothing-related joke he's had in the sixth season.

Not a lot to comment on this episode. It had some funny bits ( particularly liked the fact that Lister actually tried to chat up the Simulant and her subsequent response) and it actually played around with maintaining continuity while also being a completely unhinged concept. Looking forward to finale episode! Keep Calm and Roll Those Tranquility Balls, Gallifrey Gals! I'll be here smoking a kipper with Mr. Flibble, hiding from hordes of rampaging Rimmers until next time!

One thing about this season that always confused me, is why wasen't Rimmerworld after gunmen of the apocalypyse, seeing as they pretty much follow each other in the storyline of it

Yep so they swapped the order of ep 3 & 4 because they thought destroying the Simulant ship one week then immediately coming back to it the next might be a bit too soon. That's all.

This episode has one of my favorite first acts. I love when Rimmer catches sight of the escape pod and moves for that instead of taking an easy shot at the Simulant

Fun episode. Though probably my least favorite of the season. Loved when Rimmer took the escape pod. Lol. Can't wait to see the reaction to Series 7 Episode 1. One of my favorites. And questions from the Gals like "Is doing it with your clone considered masturbating." makes me know Patreon is worth it every month. Lol

I was just retracking back to what I thought I heard Paula say when I saw this reaction a couple of days ago. I hope, if so, that she didn't get a deaf ear the same way that my mother did! What Kat said seemed to reinforce the impression that I heard right. My mother also got tinnitus at the same time as the deafness.

Ah. My mother's deafness in her right ear - which she lost hearing in just before Christmas 1944 - is why I speak RP English - so I have her to thank that I sound like a cross between Derek Jacobi and Patrick Stewart!

I'm glad y'all enjoyed Rimmerworld, it's one of the best in this series... which I realize is maybe not saying that much when there are six episodes to a series, lol. I'm catching up on your RD reactions, and I'm excited yet tentatively nervous to see your reaction to VII. I'm kind of glad we have to wait a little longer. (Not really. But the show does get worse before it gets better - IMO. There are some gems in every series though!)
