Hi everyone,

Here is our usual weekly update on the progress of the project. This week has been focused on both updating existing plugins and pushing forward with the modular transition in the JAM alpha build.

Since I've realized that overly long posts can be boring and often don't get read completely, I’ll try to keep things as short and concise as possible in similar posts from now on. I hope you appreciate the effort 😅 Here is a breakdown of what was released this week:

🔌 Plugin Updates

MangaDex: Received a maintenance update.

Toonily: The brand-new dedicated plugin is now officially available!

Minor Fixes: Updated a couple of other plugins (mainly Webtoons) to ensure everything continues to run smoothly.

🚀 Alpha Improvements

The main focus of this week's development was the sync function for new chapters within your library mode. In previous builds, this feature was still dependent on JAM's old, non-modular architecture. With the latest update, I have successfully decoupled it. The system is now fully independent and, more importantly, capable of handling custom, plugin-specific settings. For now, this advanced logic is active exclusively with the specific options for MangaDex and Webtoons, but it lays the groundwork for all other plugins moving forward. These specific options drastically speed up the check for new available chapters, especially if you have hundreds of manga in your library!

As always, a huge thank you to all of our supporters. Your continuous contributions and feedback are absolutely vital to the development and evolution of the program ❤

See you in the next update!
