Development Diary #7: MangaK Plugin & Download Queue Improvements (Patreon)

Hi everyone,a new update for the JAM alpha version is now live! This week, I focused on expanding our supported platforms and implementing some of the great UI suggestions you left on GitHub.

Here is what’s new in this build:

New MangaK Plugin: I have officially released a new plugin for Mangak.io (which many of you might remember by its former name, Mangabuddy).

Download Queue UI Overhaul: Based on your feedback, I've reworked the download queue interface, specifically targeting the right-click context menu.

Priority Management: I’ve added two new submenus that allow you to instantly set a download to the maximum or minimum priority. This means you no longer have to move items up or down one step at a time!

Restart Menu Redesign: To reduce clutter, I redesigned the download restart menu. The context menu itself is now much cleaner, as all the specific restart options will now conveniently appear in a separate confirmation window.

Unfortunately, rewriting this specific part of the UI required a significant amount of under-the-hood code refactoring. As a result, I couldn't dedicate much time to other tasks this week. Most importantly, given the heavy structural changes, I really hope I didn't end up breaking something in the download queue 🤣 If you spot any bugs, please let me know 👍
