Tobi’s special interest in the monsters often leads him to put himself in danger.

When drawing the monsters, I’ve been keen to give them the suitmation look of the original Showa Godzilla films - I want them to feel alive, but I also love it when they have a somewhat dead-eyed stare. It almost makes them seem more like animals, oblivious to the wreckage they are causing.
