Away with the Faeries - Oak King and Holly King (Patreon)

Here are some WIP designs for the Oak King and Holly King, who play an important role in the background of this book. The story is set in Spring, when Oberon the Oak King has just taken control of the Faerie Court from the Holly King, who rules the Winter. However, in order to secure the throne, the Oak King must be as strong as possible, making many processes with his court. A process is fae currency, and the more you have, the more tethered to the rest of the world you are. Break a process, and it's like breaking a chain on you.

And when Burden makes a promise to the Oak King and then breaks it, he throws the whole Fae Realm into jeopardy. If the Holly King takes the throne back, the whole life cycle of the seasons could be thrown into a tail spin.

I'm worried though that in my horniness I made the Oak King look too much like an AI video muscle man but I have time to make that change.
