Burden - WIP Character Exploration (Patreon)

I'm in the very early stages developing a middle grade graphic novel idea with a big publisher. It's about a boy raised by faeries who dreams of going to a normal human school. His name is Burden. 

When I pitched it, Burden was a girl and it was about witches. But the publisher felt witches were a little overdone and the storyline I presented they thought would be more unique coming from a boys perspective. It worked for me, because this'll probably be my most personal work yet as it'll draw a lot from my childhood. 

Expect to see more Burden in the future!
