DeadEndia: The Broken Halo [ Chapter 2, 1/21 ] (Patreon)

SO. I'm gonna press on a post Chapter 2 as well, mostly because in this book we'll be alternating between Norma and Barney chapters, and I wanted y'all to see him and the start of his journey in Book 2. At the end of this chapter, I'll see how I feel - I think from then on I'll be posting wordless versions of some of my fave pages and maybe showing more of my progress but who knows.

Anyway - BARNEY. I consulted a number of trans sensitivity readers about this page. I've always maintained that DeadEndia is a story featuring a trans character, rather than a trans story as I don't think that's my story to tell. Plus - Barney's journey is HIS journey, not an educational tool to explain "the trans experience". Barney has had top surgery, it's right for his character, doesn't mean it's right for everyone. 

But I'll probably still be showing these pages until the final delivery date.
