As always I am grateful, but I'm wondering if you are planning to release only the hearing impairment version from now on? If so, I'm curious what made you decide to do that?

ECOTV Presents

It is a combination of both the normal and hearing impaired. As for the reasoning, when I was watching a Netflix series, since it's English, I just ignore all those hearing impaired description. For Japanese series, I tend to notice that not a lot subber out there are doing it. Japanese caption does have those hearing impaired description so I just translate those.

Thanks for your response. I understand your choice better now. For me, lines like "[sad music plays] on the screen when Eichi is going to see his dead son, completely took me out of the scene, so I made the change of removing all such notes for my personal copy. I promise to keep it solely for me, so thanks again for your work. I thought this episode was one of the best so far. Even though his plans seemed doomed to fail or at best be ineffective, you really understand his heart when Chiyo [who is delightfully gentle and wise] explains Eichi's motivation to her father-in-law. A very powerful scene. I'm really looking forward to the next episodes, and again I have you to thank for allowing me to experience this great taiga drama. Thanks ever so much.
