Silent Hill 2 Maria Modset - Update (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Sorry it's been a slow few weeks; going through some stuff in real life and...yeah.

But I'm here with an update on my SH2 Maria project. I believe the mod is now ready for me to take the mod photos. I've tried to do her hair colour, but with the way that Cyberpunk's hair colours are set up, it's impossible to just get the small amount of dip-dye that Maria has.

I've tried my best regardless, and will likely still include it in the final mod set.

With her eyes, I did actually manage to find her eye texture from the Remake:

So I've got that in the eye set with several colour variants. With the OG game, the assets aren't the best quality; it's an old game (23 years old at this point) so yeah there just isn't any real decent HQ textures available.

So for the OG eyes, I zoomed in as much as I could on the assets I could find.

Then, I painted her eyes by hand in Procreate, on my iPad pro. I did the colour of her original eyes, and then painted several colour variants. There are about 6 colour variants of the Remake eyes, and then 7 of the OG eyes. Those 13 options have 3 sclera options.

Bringing it to a full set of 39 eyes; with custom icons.

Speaking of, here's the Eyes and Icons:

 Had to pay homage to the game with these icons. There's the butterflies for Maria, and then the Red Squares. I think these icons turned out really nice, and they tie the whole mod pack together nicely. I'm looking forward to seeing them in-game when I take the screenshots for the Nexus mod page.

I aim to recreate OG and Remake Maria, and if they turn out well, I'll include their presets.

With OG Maria's outfit, I do actually have it for Vanilla Fem V. It was made by known modder Wingdeer, as a Discord exclusive for a server I was in that has sadly since shut down. I won't be sharing those files, as they weren't made by me.

However I will be linking the mods I used to recreate Remake Maria's outfit.

I'm really looking forward to taking the screenshots for this mod page. There's so many iconic shots from both the OG and Remake that I can recreate. It'll also be fun deciding on graphics for the thumbnail type images, as well as the border and font.

Part of me wants to use Comic Sans because of that one sign in the OG.

But yeah, the mod set should be out soon. I am happy with how everything turned out, and this has been a really fun side project. There's a tonne of options available for Both Vs. Maybe I can even cobble together a pose replacer or two. We shall see.
