Silent Hill 2 Maria Modset - Another Update (Patreon)

Hey everyone. Really sorry that the past few weeks have been a little slow. Got some stuff going on in real life that genuinely sucks. So yeah.

But I am here, doing my best to update. I want to provide another look at my upcoming set of mods based upon/inspired by Maria from Silent Hill 2. The mod is done, at least the things I originally intended to make are done. However I am now considering doing a few poses or pose replacers, to recreate an iconic scene or two from the game's many cutscenes.

Specifically, this scene's poses/setup:

 Seriously, this might be my favourite shot of Maria, in both the OG and the Remake. There's something about it, particularly the lighting in the OG game, that gets to me. I legitimately want to try making these two poses. I think that not only would it be amazing to recreate these scenes for the Nexus mod page photoshoot, but I know fellow Silent Hill 2 fans would love to have these poses as well.

I'm at least going to TRY and make these respective poses; I have to first find some similar chairs so I can use those as a posing reference in Blender.

For now though, here's how the OG and Remake eyes of Maria look like in-game:

  Honestly, I love how both versions turned out. The remake eyes look super nice, especially if you like your V to have a more realistic look. But the OG eyes have a bit more of a cartoony charm, which matches how the OG game's graphics look a bit more cartoony by today's standards. It isn't a bad thing by any means, but you have to agree it looks very different to the highly detailed remake.
