Hey everyone! I hope you've been having a good week so far! I am here with another update; this time it's a pretty exciting one! It's my first ever CCXL Mod!

Recently, I have seriously been wanting to get into CCXL modding. There is so much potential there, and it has been incredibly exciting seeing everything develop; so many modders have made some amazing things. Since it is something new and more complex than my usual stuff, I decided to start with something a bit simpler; makeup.

Which is when I found Zwei's amazing tutorial for CCXL Eye Makeup! (You can find it here by the way)

What made the most sense to me is to convert a makeup mod I'd already made; so I wouldn't entirely be starting from scratch. And since it was only ever a single file, I chose Powder's makeup from Arcane 2 x 7; the original of which you can find here. It did admittedly take me several attempts because I made some dumb mistakes, but I succeeded in making it into a CCXL mod!

As with the original mod, it is available for Both Vs.

You can install a single file for Both Vs at once, or files for either V seperately:

arcanepowder -> Both Vs

arcanepowderfem -> Fem V

arcanepowdermasc -> Masc V

All of the Vanilla eye makeup colours work just fine with this mod, so I just grabbed the references from the original mod. For the new screenshots I took, I think I used Colour #6; I sadly forgot to take note of it before shutting my game down. I wanted to try out a different set of shades for this new post.

I also wanted the colour to match my main V's new aesthetic, haha.

For this mod to work, you will need ArchiveXL and it's requirement RED4ext; both of which are on Nexus mods, and that I linked just there. I tested this mod several times before posting, and I have over 700 mods in my game. So it's 99.9% certain to work for you guys. If it doesn't, it is going to be some weird mod conflict.

Especially as, per the tutorial, I custom pathed literally everything in the mod files.

Here's some Installation Instructions for this CCXL mod:

1) Download ArchiveXL and RED4ext if you haven't already.

2) Download the right Zip file from this mod page for your chosen V.

3) Extract the files from within the zip.

4) Put those files in your mod folder. On Steam, the file path is as follows:

steam - steamapps - common - Cyberpunk 2077 - archive - pc - mod

(Your files go in the mod folder at the end of that file path)

5) Load up your game, and head to the Character Creator.

6) The easiest way to find my mod would be to go backwards once in the CC, so you don't have to cycle through the 30+ vanilla options.

7) Select my eyeliner, and it will show up for your V as a standalone option!

That about does it for this post! I am super excited to explore CCXL stuff more. What I will do first is convert my existing eyeliner mods, purely because that makes the most sense and is the easiest thing to tackle. Once those are done, I will try new makeup mods. And after that, I might even try CCXL Tattoos or hair colours!

Take care of yourselves, everyone! Please check out the Mod Remix #2 voting post, as well as my idea for a new $1 tier. Also, join the Discord if you haven't already!

(The Zip titled 'Powder Makeup CCXL' is just a collection of the mod page photos and colour references)
