My #1 favorite Batman movie since I first saw it in theaters at age 15.

First of all. a great reaction from you Viki. This is a true classic in the comic book genre. To date this remains in my desert island, all-time, top 5 most memorable comic book movies. The cast, story, directing and visuals, everything is incredible. From the introduction of The Joker, to the reveal of Harvey Dent as Two-Face (even though I knew it was coming), to Batman taking responsibility for what Dent did and go on the run in the end. Thrill ride from start to finish. But there is one standout and that has to be Heath Ledger as The Joker. The voice, mannerisms, little tics and nuances he brought to the role is an acting masterpiece. Here we see a fully psychotic Joker expertly portrayed. Previous Jokers were always portrayed fairly campy on screen. Even Jack Nicholson went from crazy to campy in the 1989 Batman. In this movie he’s not interested in money or power. As Alfred says “some men just want to watch the world burn”. In my opinion I doubt there will be a Joker portrayed on screen as great as we saw here, no matter who portrays him in the future. A performance so great Heath Ledger was awarded the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. Tragically it was posthumously but I believe he would have won it anyway and thus was not awarded on sentiment alone. Finally, it’s the dynamic between Batman and The Joker that plays so well on screen. They need each other. As Joker said to Batman in the prison scene “I don’t wanna kill you, what would I do without you”. Then later in the movie “We’re destined to do this forever”. So accurate, playing off some of the classic comic books, in particular ‘The Killing Joke’ written by the legendary Frank Miller. This was definitely my favourite of your solo reactions so far and was amazing to watch with you. Thank You Viki.

Heath Ledger's joker is the greatest supervillain in cinema history IMHO.

Really Glad viki does these solo Dolo reactions. She brings so much emotion to my favorite scene which is the two boats and the good in people dynamic
