Can't wait for this, hope it can capture the quality of those early seasons of the original. Thanks Homies!

A really promising first episode! I can already see the parallels between this story and the Plantagenet Anarchy (1138-1154), with Princess Rhaenyra taking the part of Empress Matilda.

Timeline is the only thing that throws me off. I thought it was hundreds of years since a dragon was alive. Even Bran said in the godswood that dragons have been gone for centuries , but this show they haven't been gone for even 2 centuries

Abbraccia

103 AC Viserys become king, 153 AC extinction of dragons, 298 AC Lord Arryn dies and GOT begins... so yeah less then one and a half century

Josh

That wasn't the Great Sept of Baelor that Cersei blew up. That is the Dragon Pit , just not in ruins. That's where they all met to show Cersei the dead walker

Josh

King Visery is Daenery's grandfather , but he's their great , great , great , great , great, great, and great grandfather. Also Rhaenyra Targaryen is Danny's distant Aunt

No Larry, The Lannisters were the richest, followed by Tyrells, then Martels. Great screaming reactions by the girls, it's so addictive lol EDIT - Larry is right about the dagger, this story line is basically a foretelling of times to come.

Josh

55:00 , The Valyrian sword King Visery is holding is called "Blackfyre". It was Aegon Targaryen's sword he used to conquer the 7 Kingdoms & forge the Iron Trone. It's the ancestral blade of House Targaryen

To Moderator: May I make a new rule to your polls? If somebody posts more than ONE movie, ALL of their movie suggestions (regardless of how many votes it gets) become DISQUALIFIED from the poll. It might hopefully encourage reading. Reading is always a good thing for humanity. ☺

rSb - Rob Benjamin

Oops, i meant to put this in the Poll section. Sorry!

Practically all ancients Kingdoms , handing a kingdom over to a woman was unthought of. Reason y that's the case , is becuz it would always lead to a breakdown on who would inherit the throne after her. What happens if Queen remarrys , or only has daughters, and her daughter marrys another man from another line ? Now the line of the kingdom has changed. These were all worries they had. Wasn't becuz they didn't think a woman could rule like everyone seems to think is reason they chose a male heir.

Donovan Sparks

Not sure why Ellie keeps saying Dany was the first queen, but Cersei was the first queen of Westeros.
