I’m really sorry for the lack of posts. My camera battery permanently died, which is why nothing has gone up yet. I planned to replace it this morning, but I couldn’t find a compatible one in-store and had to order it online. It’ll be delivered tomorrow morning. Sorry this came out of nowhere, because of the delay, this week will be packed with double uploads.

she already told you when friends was, it's so rude to reply with this when she needed a day off due to having a CHRONIC ILLNESS. maybe you didn't realize but this message is super pushy and probably makes her feel guilty

because it's rude to spam in all caps that you want something she's under a lot of pressure to put out already. i never presumed to know your intentions, in fact i said that you may not have realized how it comes off, but even if you have the best of intentions it's a pushy message to send and has a chance to make her feel bad, it's just not worth the risk. not trying to be confrontational it's just a lot of people send messages every time she updates the schedule telling her to post friends that day instead of what's scheduled and even if that's not what you're trying to do, considering you didn't put anything else in your comment, it could easily come off that way to sofie and feel bad for her. i'm just trying to be empathetic

i don't think that's what snyder was saying at all, they were just saying not to engage. and i agree, you clearly can't see my point of view at all despite me trying to see yours so let's just agree to disagree you've been very rude to me this whole time and in every single message i've sent i've had at least one sentence trying to explain that i wasn't coming at you at all, i just thought your message was rude and wanted to explain to you why, naively thinking you'd be open minded and kind to me, even if you didn't change your perspective creating a scenario where you and another community member are talking bad about me because of me kindly expressing my opinion when that's not even what that person was saying is so so cruel :(

Just don't engage, Esme. It's clear this person is not interested in other's perspectives or in trying to discuss things civilly or be empathetic to a creator who is already struggling. Hopefully Sofie knows that we don't mind waiting and we understand.

Gotta just remark on esme's behalf here as well as on behalf of all people who extremely mildly criticize a comment on the internet and then get dragged into reply hell for the next day by someone who just can't take an L. I've been there. "maybe you didn't realize but this message is super pushy and probably makes her feel guilty" - literally in last line of esme's first reply to this thread that dismantles every rant that came afterward from you - the point is Kane your INTENT is completely irrelevant. Yes you were just being cute and fun! WE BELIEVE YOU. No one is doubting the intent and heart behind your initial post here, or your motives, or your moral character based on your initial comment. No, its what came after that shows who you are. Re esme's criticism. Replying in a post apologizing for being late where sofie likely really stressed and worried about people being annoyed having a capitalized chant about wanting a show in text form where intent and tone can be lost, when she's just announced that show will be days late COULD be taken the wrong way and if esme INDEED took it the wrong way (as I did) then there's no reason to assume Sofie couldn't. You happen to know that Sofie's capabilities of reading your text with the correct tone far surpasses mine and esme's? I'm guessing Sofie and yourself know eachother really well IRL, otherwise I'd be interested to know how you have this insight? What your original intent and tone was is irrelevant, that's GONE as soon as you click post. She was just warning (with proof of her own interpretation) that it may be interpreted in a way that'd make sofie feel bad and acknowledged you may not have realized, even gave you a moral out that you did nothing knowingly wrong in the initial reply. That's all. That's all she was saying. Geez. Why can't people just take the L and be reasonable and reply something like 'oh I didn't realize it may be interpreted that way, no worries! it was just a bit of fun but I'd not want to inadvertedly make sofie feel guilty so appreciate you letting me know it came across that way to you and even if there's a 1% chance sofie may take it the same way I wouldn't want that!' and then it just be over. But no, that's fantasy talk! Instead, people like yourself always needs to defend their virtue and argue for 20 messages about why someone bringing this up was OUT OF ORDER and an OVERREACTION and WRONG and what a GREAT WONDERFUL PERSON they are and how the one who replied to them is NASTY and that YOU ARE NOT THEIR PROTECTOR or are a WHITE KNIGHT ad infinitum despite the initial criticism being so mild and polite. As someone who's been in esme's position before its very predictable and annoying, now she's being dragged into participating in 'drama' just be being tempted into defending herself against someone being defensive and toxic about it. As soon as someone brings out the white knight card you know they are truly lost, though. It's not being a 'protector' to be considerate of other people's feelings, esp someone you have concerns is struggling in some way, and by thinking it is shows your true colours and nature better than the original post could ever do. Your original post would be forgotten within an hour if it was ever noticed at all. But the subsequent stuff? That's the stuff that makes it clear you should be avoided as a fellow community member btw, its a red flag behaviour that I make sure to avoid in people in general online and offline. It's never the original post that's been remarked upon politely initially. Was an innocent post, replied to with a polite and innocent point about how your post could be interpreted, and it could have just ended there. Everything after is on you Kane. I've pre-emptively blocked you because of how much of your ass you showed inside this thread and I don't wanna get into this with you at any point in future, so don't bother trying to drag me into it I won't see any reply, I just wanted to say my piece so it wasn't just esme and people complaining about 'drama' or telling her not to engage. I get how hard it is not to when someone is dragging you through the mud for the mildest and politest and friendliest and validest of criticisms.

Sofie should slow down her schedule because everyone (including me) wants to get their favorite reaction and when we don’t we feel sad and betrayed because we either had a day off or some free time after work to entertain ourselves with what we love but this is now causing so much drama and this isn’t the first time.

Unsolicited advice: Not sure if you've taken another look at your streaming set up already but if you're using a camera with its own battery, you should consider getting a dummy battery and power it via a power cord. And for extra security (in case you have a power outage, for whatever reason), you can run the power through a UPS, which hopefully you already have.
