Omg I've waited for this, and your reactions never disappoint, I love how you take your time understanding Eren and his character instead of just being frustrated by his actions. Rewatching this with you made me remember exactly why I love Erwin so much. I truly believe no one could get this far in capturing an enemy and destroying their plans with what little info they got; they really know nothing about the world they're living in. Armin is more amazing with each episode. Also, I wish he were Erwin's son; that would have been hilarious. Your reaction to the end scene is my fav its so funny, but you're so smart. I'm looking forward to season 2 and the OVAs.

What an incredible reaction! I love all your thoughts on Annie and Eren and how you can pinpoint their actions so cleverly. Something else struck me while watching the episode with you: I find it really interesting how we’re already getting our first glimpses of Levi’s stance on the death of his comrades and the people in the town. You already mentioned that he might not fully approve on Erwin's plan to sacrifice so many for his goal to capture the titan while in the end it was probably all in vain. He also seems a bit odd in the scene where he’s sitting with Eren at the table (where he also used to hang out with his squad). He’s emotionally reserved, but you can tell there’s more and his closed behaviour might be his way to grieve. All this means more to him than he’s willing to admit. While Eren is fully honest with his feelings, his rage and disappointment in Annies betrayal it's easier to tell how he cares. Levi never really tells us how he feels, but we can mainly see it in his eyes and the way he talks about the dead. You’ll learn a lot more about this in his OVAs and the following seasons. I just thought it was interesting that you can already notice. I’m really looking forward to your further reactions! ❤️
