my reading of them not knowing piper dies in the future is that when chris came back he told them that they'd die in a future where the titans live, but they thought that threat was over when they defeated the titans. then they find out there's more danger in the future with wyatt having the potential to turn evil, but never get told they die in that future. and i can believe that they might believe they're still alive when chris has been so vague about the future and didnt even explain how he got there, they may even have thought they helped him go back to save wyatt and the world. we saw his story with bianca but they didn't get to know anything except that chris was in love with bianca, and the future is bad so he came back to change it.

Little easter egg: The first time we hear Phoebe's high school nickname - Freebie, is back in season 1 when the three of them switched powers (so that Piper can heal Leo) and Phoebe ended up with Prue's. So, to trigger her powers, Prue had to make Phoebe angry and so she mentioned that nickname. She also said that they started calling her Freebie when they caught her making out with someone under the bleechers. And now, when she was making out with Todd under the table, they said that they used to make out under the bleechers. 😄 This is one of the rare times when they punish/kill an 'innocent'. We know that they're not supposed to use their powers to punish the guilty (lesson learned the hard way back when Prue, Piper and Phoebe travelled to the future). Usually, they save everyone, no matter whether they're good or bad. Even though I don't mind that this idiot died, it's very interesting to see that they both agreed to do this without even talking, just a look was enough.

This could have been a great episode had they handled the Rick situation better in the end. I mean, come on now, two powerful witches and they couldn't find a way to subdue him before deciding to kill him USING MAGIC?

Yeah, Phoebe and her spells were kind of the reason he was out of prison in the first place. It was out of place for her to decide it's too much trouble to get him back there and kill him instead. I chalk it up to badly handled resolution to tie Chris's episode plot with Phoebe's.

I think what he said was that the charmed one was dead because Paige wasn’t petrified but killed. Meaning the power of three died, not the three of them

I never really understand why the writers decided the sisters had to kill a human. Pheebs remember you were burnt alive for that in the future?

I never really paid attention to this episode but rewatching with Sofie yeah you’re right they killed a human that should’ve appeared before a judge and get a sentence he deserves. They kinda took faith in their own hands… Spoiler which will get punished for in 6x19🤣🤣
