Yayyyyyyyy! So excited!

glory

chandler was actually supposed to cheat on monica after their fight but matthew refused to that! thank God he said no ☺️

Edo

I can't believe we're already at the end of S5!! What a wild ride. S6 also has some really memorable episodes! Also, Ross is just chef's kiss now. S5 and S6 is when Ross really shines in his hilarity and cringeyness.

Edo

Thank goodness. We already went through that w/ Ross and Rachel.

SidekickSteph

The hand twin guy is in a lot of things, like Reno 911 and Seventeen Again, (which also has Matthew Perry) and I believe he’s in How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days. He’s in more of course but that’s all I can think of rn. Great reaction!

Nanners

Another great reaction. The whole time you were worried about Monica & Chandler rushing things, I was thinking “oh just you wait” 😂 your shock to Ross & Rachel was so good! I really can’t believe it’s the end of S5 already, and now we’re halfway through the series 😭 There are still plenty of laughs and shenanigans to go around in S6 though! Can’t wait!

Nanners

I believe he and Matthew were good friends and worked together on multiple things. If I remember correctly, they had a sitcom in the mid 2010’s called The Odd Couple.

Edo

I love how petty Ross and Rachel are to eachother in these eps! I'm really glad they broke them up early on so that htey can get to this place where theyre just immature yet hilarious. It really allowed David and Jennifer to flex their comedic chops.

I think what chandler was forgetting when he told monica “you are to never see him again” is that richard is jack’s (monica & ross’ dad) best friend so if they had a family party or something and he was there, monica couldn’t help that. i always thought about that when watching that scene.

Alile

Yup. I believe the original script had him cheat on Monica with a hotel employee, but Matthew convinced the writers not to go through with it because he thought the audience would never forgive Chandler. And plus, if you think about it, Ross slept with the girl from the copy place on his and Rachel’s 1 year anniversary, so having Chandler do the same thing to Monica would have been repetitive. And even though what Ross did was wrong, he and Rachel had been on the rocks for weeks and had a huge fight, and Ross then thought Rachel was with Mark. If he was wrong to sleep with someone else after that, Chandler would have been INSANE to sleep with someone over one little fight with Monica when everything else between them had been going great. So yeah, thank god Matthew convinced the writers to scrap that storyline. He’s my favorite character, and I wouldn’t have been able to even begin trying to defend him doing that. 😬

Alile

Loved this! And if you ever do feel like going to the next episode instead of waiting a week, you would have our FULL support. 😜

Spoilers ahead. Are you sure it's not about the other event later down the line?

Michael Instone

The guy was out of "17 Again" with Zac Effron.

Annie519

I was going to say the same thing. He said not only would Chandler never cheat on Monica but the audience would never forgive him. And he was absolutely right, I am so glad he stuck to it and I have no idea what the writers were even thinking. There are still people who hate Ross for it and this would have been even worse, at least you can argue that Ross and Rachel were broken up, but this would have been a full blown cheat. Not only that but it just wouldn't have made sense for his character, yes Chandler never was great in relationships prior to Monica but they never perceived him as a cheater, actually he got cheated on twice. Both Cathy and Janice cheated him.

Annie519

No, a lot of people think it is but it was for this episode, not the one your thinking of.

Enzo Reis

Poor guy! Imagine just doing your job and suddenly some weird guy starts following you around with that ‘hand twin’ thing. 😂

Enzo Reis

Of course Phoebe would be the one to pick a fight with an old lurker lady. 😝

Randy Giles

Yeah, hand twin guy (Thomas Lennon) was Matthew Perry's co-star on the TV series The Odd Couple, and had a big role in the Matthew Perry movie 17 Again. I doubt Sofie has seen either of those, but if she looked up Matthew Perry roles on Google, there's some photos of Matthew with Thomas Lennon, so I would assume that's where she recognizes him.

silverarrow06

Jennifer Aniston was actually topless when they filmed her apartment scene, but they did close the set. That meant no audience and only the absolutely necessary crew members. I hear "It's not unusual" and I see Carlton...😂

Randy Giles

Chandler wanting to get married shows how much he's grown this season, and how much he cares about Monica. For a guy with such big commitment issues, this was a huge step for him, even if they didn't wind up getting married in this episode. I bet Gunther wishes he had the apartment across the street from Rachel. If only he knew what Rachel was doing by the window...

Tami Hart

That guy is in a lot of movies including We’re the Millers with Jennifer Aniston and How to lose a Guy in 10 Days

Wendy

Yes, the fact that Chandler was originally supposed to cheat on Monica in this finale is true. They had actually hired someone to be the woman he cheats with and rehearsed it. Then Matthew Perry went to the writers and said he didn't want to do it. He felt like it was out of character for Chandler, and that the audience would never forgive him. The woman they hired for him to cheat with actually wound up playing the flight attendant on Ross and Rachel's flight. Love your reaction as usual. The season cliffhangers are always the best. Ross and Rachel drunk are gold. When Joey comes in and Ross falls, and then says, I'm sorry are you OK. Then Rachel's I'm doing good baby, how you doing. This to me was the most fun season finale.

Steve Quast

Plus being approached about it by a strange guy in the bathroom. I love Joey, but c'mon, man! Ugh! lol

Fra Neu

Great reaction of you, Sofie. But this two episodes are not as funny as the others.

Trainer Kay Studio

Vegas local here. We average up to 300 weddings EACH day, and yep... they are REAL! LOL! I've seen my share of late-night drunken proposals around here.

Trainer Kay Studio

This is one of my favorite Ross episodes. I lose it every time he sits in the chair that isn't there.

Edo

'oh hey...are you ok?' So good!! It's funny, I never understood the Ross hate I saw online as I watched Friends in highschool and never knew which characters other ppl liked/hated. Ross was so funny to me...but then I realized I didn't watch s1-s3 ross in my original run and only really saw Ross at his most unhinged/hilarious. I didn't realize how much Ross evolves.

Edo

there's a lot of inconsistencies in Friends w/ how the main 6 sometimes act, esp. in the later seasons, but Chandler cheating on Monica would never be one of them!! Chandler knows he won the lottery w/ Monica and you're right in that Janice and Cathy cheated on him so he knows how painful taht would be esp. to a close friend / now lover!

Christian

I love how you talk about Mon's and Chandler's relationship like it's your child lol

C_Drew

It truly is...she's nurtured it so hard since season 1

Joey Tribbiani

Don't mind me, just reacting with a heart to every comment here in this section.

Smokey

I think this is the first time you cursing in a reaction,,,😅😅😅
