I saw a few comments saying the end of 3x2 was supposed to be the original ending of season 2. That would make sense pacing-wise since 3x1 would have been the big penultimate battle episode and the finale ending on R on the iron throne finally.

This should have been the season 2 finale. It's a shame that HBO doesn't give them more episodes. I really hate that 8 episodes every two years is the standard now. Rhaenyra asking Jace what he'd done like a mother scolding her young child really hurt. Emma's performance was incredible.

I'm not sure what happened to Ironrod. Did he drink an instant stupid tea? He's the one with leverage before he decides to force himself on Alicent. He could have had her arrested for treason, lock her in a cell and then do whatever he wants later(though I'm not sure why that was necessary at all, domination fetish aside it's still a dum idea)After maybe stopping Rhaenyra and Daemon, though i suppose since he was so stupid he probably wouldn't have gotten that far😅
