I know everyone will mention how amazing this finale is for Monica and Chandler, but I need to say the auction trio of Joey, Phoebe and Rachel is one of my fave groupings in the entire show. Joey being so stupid and desperate for his boat, Rachel being so stressed and angry at Joey and almost mentioning the guy's bald head lol, and Phoebe being her tipsy crabby self....'you enjoy this...WOO!!!'

36:17 This episode made me hate Richard so much. Seriously, what type of guy takes a woman out on a date, then spends the entire date talking to his ex-girlfriend while not even looking at the woman he's actually on a date with? Imagine how awkward that would be for the blonde woman he's with, seeing the guy you're on a date with fawning over his (younger and beautiful) ex-girlfriend. Not to mention Richard inviting himself to sit with Chandler & Monica without even asking them if they were okay with it.

Amazing reaction as always. As we've passed the halfway point of the FRIENDS run, I'd like to suggest Seinfeld as a follow up if that hasn't been suggested already. For tons of sitcom fans in the 90s, you were either a FRIENDS person or a Seinfeld person. But those of us who loved both got treated to an entire decade of the best character comedy (FRIENDS) and social satire (Seinfeld) to be found anywhere on network television.

Matthew Perry was such an underrated dramatic actor. Everyone knew him as Chandler, the funny one, and he was incredible with comedic timing. But he could do so much more than he was ever recognized or given credit for. It’s not even one of his best or most dramatic roles at all, but “Fools Rush In” is one of my favorite movies of his, simply because of how fully he embodies the character and how honest his portrayal is. The way he looks at Selma, just like the way he looks at Courtney in the Mondler scenes, it just radiates sincerity. Even if you don’t react to that movie on this channel, I highly recommend watching it the next time you feel the need to see a good romcom. He had such a big heart, and it’s heartbreaking to know how much pain he was in for so much of his adult life. 💔😔
