Beautiful ending, sadly I will be unsubscribing now after you finish The Last of Us. Nothing against the shows you are currently watching, they just aren't my kind of shows. I would love to come back so hope to see you reacting again. The character development for klaus has to be one of the best in film history. This show was such a great one because of the complexity of who is right and who is wrong yet the writers somehow made it so it was always everyone’s and no one’s fault simultaneously and the lack of fear to kill off main characters always kept us on our feet which allowed this show to remain unpredictable and exciting. Not to mention the actors of this show were all top tier! Now for the ending. I believe it was a perfect ending only because I believe this show has always been mostly about the bond between Elijah and Klaus. It started and ended with the two and their brotherly bond was the only constant thing in this show whether it was through good or bad times. Plus ik klaus died for hope but he didn’t let Elijah take the darkness because he also can’t live without his brother same goes for Elijah, mostly with Hayley in the after life, Elijah has no future. The ending was tragic for hope but couldn’t have been a better ending for the brotherly Mikaelsons and that’s why I could accept the ending. Beautiful show, beautiful characters and beautiful reactions Sofie appreciate all the work you put into these reactions for 3 years 🫶🏻

Agh! I hate it! It hurts so much! It does feel perfect though. Klaus and Elijah dying together. I don't think either could've truly lived without each other. They're so co-dependent. Obviously if either had lived they'd have focused completely on Hope, but I think for both of them there'd just be this emptiness in them without the other. Especially Elijah. We already saw it at the beginning of the season though with Klaus. He kept going to see Elijah (just not talking to him) and then when Elijah rejected him he was broken. And as you said, Elijah has dedicated his entire life to Klaus, without him he'd be lost. Though honestly, the reason they killed Klaus, Hayley and Elijah was to make Hope an orphan for Legacies... They knew there was no other way they could excuse having those 3 not around for her through that show, so they had to kill them off... I think it's very likely possible to bring pictures back with magic. I'd assume Hayley let either Freya or Hope see the memory of the picture somehow and they recreated it... Idk. That's my theory... I honestly think a big part of why Kol was so hesitant to come back was denial. He didn't want to believe that Klaus was actually going to die. Despite everything, he does love him and he was likely terrified. And I love that moment he shows up and Klaus tells him he always adored him! ADORED! Not just loved! That's so cute!! Everyone telling stories about Klaus was adorable! Poor Elijah though! That April Fools prank sounded like Hell! I really wish we got more little bits of information like that over the course of the show. Just these fun memories of them just being a family and messing with each other in innocent ways. And of course he stopped sleeping at some point out of paranoia! That is probably the least surprising thing I have ever heard. Poor Marcel getting stuck hiding in a crawl space for 12 hours though! And I love Marcel finally admitting that he loves the Mikaelsons. Like, we've always known this, but he's also always really struggled with that fact. Especially over the last few seasons. So it was nice to hear him say it. And that it clearly wasn't just about Klaus, but Elijah too. I feel like part of him has forgiven him for killing him. Not completely, I don't think that's something you can ever fully get over. But enough to admit he does love him. Poor Hope though. She really doesn't deserve this. I will never forgive the writers for what they did to her relationship with Klaus. How much they split them up and how much time they forced them to spend away from each other. It's so unfair! Klaus and Caroline were so cute! I love that while you loved Klamille and Steroline, you still love Klaroline. It's so refreshing because most people tend to hate on either Klaroline or the other two, depending on their ship. And I love that Caroline kept the voicemail! The reason I think they showed photos that were burned is because the characters themselves don't have many photos together. So they took photos that were burned, photos of the cast taken behind the scenes, clippings of scenes that were not photographed, precisely to give that emotional impact. But, if you think logically, there was no way there would be a photo. Mainly the one from the second season that was burned. Just like the photos of Delena that appear in 6x02, which were photos of Ian and Nina, from the time they were dating.

This episode is very well written, it really feels like a finale from start to finish. It's classic, grand and exciting. It has all the elements that make The Originals be The Originals. Besides, it's closure for Klaus and Elijah, and their love for each other, which is basically the driving force of the series. The way Klaus starts the first episode saying "I don't care about her and the baby, kill them both" and ends the series sacrificing himself for his daughter and family, shows how much he has evolved. And Elijah being the protective force that guided him from the beginning to follow this path. Taking responsibility and atrocity at times just so Klaus wouldn't have to. Elijah can live without Hayley, even though it's painful, but Elijah can't live without Klaus. In the same way that if Klaus didn't have Hope, he wouldn't live without the older brother he needs and respects.

I hope in the future you will come back to this universe and watch Legacies. I know you will probably really enjoy seeing more of Hope and Caroline's twins and mystic falls as well as all the big guest stars from both The Vampire Diaries and The Originals. But I'm really excited for Charmed and Stranger things and also Once Upon A Time. If in the future you want to react to more teen dramas I would really recommend The OC and Gilmore Girls which were from the 2000s how One Tree Hill.

now that its over i just wanna say that klaroline was so forced and fan service since s5 of tvd. They give off lust while klamille was love and new beginnings. I've written a whole paragraph about the two different ships during cami's last episode reaction so i wont dig into it again but knowing the actress leah aka cami got harassed, threats and hate from toxic klaroline fans who also threaten julies socials and demand klaroline to come back or they stop watching. Leah left due to being bullied then klaroline suddenly happens again? Psh fan service and i hate it. In my opinion caroline had lust and klaus has infactuation. S5 hook up scene was also forced, he left in s4. When s5 was happening, s1 of the originals started and they showed klaus fancing cami than he suddenly goes back to mystic falls and hooks up with caroline, lol its so clear that it was forced and the reaction after s5 was huge. It still bothers me that klamille was gonna be endgame but then they switched it for the bullies after they pushed Leah to a breaking point of leaving the show but IM SO HAPPY THEY DIDNT GET THEIR ENDGAME EITHER. I feel bad for the klaroline shippers who didnt do anything. Other than that, im happy that i still see toxic klaroline fans raging on tik tok over not getting their endgame

I love the bittersweet feeling of how klaus couldn't be killed by anyone but himself and his brother. That in the end it's family that makes that decision for him. It really brings it full circle especially how the originals started with just klaus and elijah in tvd and it ends with klaus and elijah. I do feel sad that elijah wasnt written to stay and watch over hope too but elijahs ark about hayley and klaus, i dont see him staying for any reason if not for them two. I know his sisters and brother kol but i feel his main story about his character besides loyalty and trust was mainly his bond with klaus and hayley so it feels bittersweet for him to die with klaus and meet hayley in peace for their last dance

I don't know why so many people forget this, but Elijah' sireline died in S4 when he got put in Freya's pendant. There is a scene showing this where Rebekah is out partying and vampires start dropping and she know something happened to Elijah.

Lets be honest, ignoring the plot holes, the writers did what they could with the overall narrative, none of the actors wanted to stick around for another big project and how do you explain Hailey and Klaus staying away from their daughter? Or not coming to fuck up whatever threat Hope is facing? There was no realistic way to write their absence, it would have gone against their entire personality and character arcs through the shows. It sucks for so many reasons, we all wanted more Hope and Klaus scenes, or the whole family being happy together, but its better like this instead of everything being ruined. Just look at how silly the absence of the other tvdverse character is explained in Legacies, it would have been even worse in the Originals case. Too bad I don't particularly enjoy the spinoff anyway, antiquated villain of the week formula, horrible big bads, bad acting, male characters, especially Badass Alaric being portrayed as incompetents, or comedic relief 24/7, on the nose identity politics, the overuse of slow-mo power rangers fight scenes...I just couldn't take it anymore...I heard s4 gets good again, but for me it was too little, too late. So, its end of an era for me on Sofie's page, unless shows like Breaking Bad, Scrubs, The OC, Gossip Girl come, it will be a while until I will be back. Anyway, wanted to say I enjoyed reading your long posts during the shows and agree with a lot of your character analysis. Cheers!
