Wintersun - Awaken From The Dark Slumber (Spring) (Live in Oberhausen 2018) (Patreon)

Hey guys! Here's a performance of "Slumber" from Oberhausen, Germany. The venue was called Turbinenhalle, pretty big one! This was our second tour after The Forest Seasons release when we were touring with Arch Enemy, Jinjer and Tribulation in January - February 2018.Unfortunately Jukka got sick during the middle of this tour and had to miss few shows. This was one of them, which was a bummer since this was the first time we brought an "On Stage With Wintersun" camera man with us filming all the shows. The first shows of this tour we were struggling to get good material, but on this show we finally nailed the camera settings and our camera guy Axel Nordman started to get a hang of the camera work, you know memorising important spots who to film when and how. He did an awesome job on this show! Also the performance wasn't too bad so we thought to share this.Little camera settings info:We were trying to find the right lens and the right look and we landed on the Sony Distagon 35mm f/1.4 lens. This lens gives this awesome 3D effect and depth. Worked really well with this bigger stage and with the beam lights. The camera was Sony A7R III on a Zhiyun Crane 2 gimbal. For the framerate we chose 30fps, so not the regular 24fps which movies have. But we chose a slightly higher shutter speed for this framerate to get a little sharper movement and make it more "magical".Rolf Pilve was on the drums during this tour and did a killer job! He's known from Stratovarius. Notice some of his drumcam cuts also on this one! Hope you like the video! And have a great weekend guys!
