From left to right:Focal Radiance- Lots of fun to listen to, big and full sound, yet still detailed and punchy- Overall a little bit "V" EQ curve, meaning lifted bass and treble (scooped mids)- There's a little bit of 3 kHz bite / harshness, but nothing too unpleasant and in some music productions like EDM it works nicely- Upper treble after that little 3 kHz bump very pleasant and it has a little bit of air too- Not the most quick dynamic response, bass is a little bit slow, but overall pretty tight sound- Closed headphones, decent outside noise isolation, but not greatFocal Clear Professional (v1)- Similar to Radiance, but more neutral, better to mix with- Very natural sound, warm mids, very pleasant to listen to- You can't really find anything bad with itFocal Utopia- The most detailed of the bunch, on the brighter side, but nothing too crazy- Very fast and punchy dynamics, probably one of the quickest headphones there are- Might lack bass level for some, but the bass is very tight and accurate- Incredible to find and adjust details when mixing and mastering, very revealing headphoneSennheiser HD 650- The warmest / darkest of the bunch, but very pleasant and fun to listen- Upper treble details kinda lost (some called it a "veiled" headphone)- Full low mids, you can still judge nicely some mids and lower mids- Bass is kinda loose and don't give you sub bass punch- Comfort king! The nicest headphones ever to be on my head, it's like a pillow!Sennheiser HD 660 S- Similar to 650, but with more detail and tightness- More forward upper mids- Tighter bass- Not so comfortable as 650, as there's more clamping force, but it might loosen over time. Still fairly comfortable.- I use these for recording vocalsOppo PM-1- These are like the better version of Sennheiser HD 650 in every way, except for comfort, still ok comfort- Better EQ balance than 650, neutral (Although not as neutral as the Focal Clear Pro)- Tighter bass than 650 (although not as tight as the Focals)- More air and treble than 650 (nothing harsh about it)- Very pleasant overall- Nice (one word I can describe them with)For mixing and mastering I would pick the Focal Utopia and Focal Clear Pro first. Focal Radiance is great also for these purposes, but I would say it's more for mastering and overall picture of listening the finished product. For just pure music enjoyment I would probably pick the Radiance, Clear Pro, Oppo PM-1 and the HD 650.- Jari

In this abysmal day, here comes a photo with all these gems and their capabilities described! As an audiophile myself it's really exciting and intriguing to read your insight on how you experience these headphones. I'm actually debating between certain models! Have a great day (non-abysmal)! :)

Nice stable! I have the Arya Stealth, HD800S, Fostex TH610 and some custom Grado's. Grado's are really fun to listen to with metal, really natural sound. Fostex have some nice big bass. Maybe I'll try a Clear next

Definitely an awesome collection there, might have to try some of the Focals! Have you demoed planar magnetic technology? I have the Audeze LCD2 classic, they take very well to EQ, have a huge soundstage and the bass is incredibly fast. Definitely not for mixing but love them for general music enjoyment!
