We know you’ve always wanted to see us return to a previous dig site... so we’ve listened!

Thirteen years on, we’re back at Brancaster Roman Fort. When we first visited in 2012 for our classic three-day dig, John’s geophysics survey produced extraordinary results. But at the time, the technology just couldn’t keep up, and we were able to explore only a small section of the fort.

Now, with cutting-edge methods, we’ve returned to survey the fort in its entirety and the results are truly exceptional! However as always, new discoveries bring new questions!
