That particular channel has a lot of episodes that aren’t available anywhere official (including the multiple History Hit channels). It would be nice to see those released in higher resolution, though.

In particular, would like to see S9 E8, from High Ercall, Shropshire. There’s a video on that other channel titled as such, but it’s mislabeled. It’s actually from season 5, and I can’t find the real one anywhere.

I agree with these comments. I've asked before to have the earlier episodes added to Time Team Classics with a better resolution.

@Carrie S there are copies of that episode floating around the internet, but you will need special tools to download them.

I am so curious as to where all these armoured artifacts ended up. Would they have been melted down and reused, or are they in collections?

Please look into another lost battlefield, the Battle of Brunanburh (937 AD). Fought between King Æthelstan of England and an alliance of Vikings and Scots, this brutal conflict is considered the birth of England. For centuries, its exact location was lost to history, but recent discoveries point to the Wirral Peninsula.

I like the low resolution, it feels vintage. Besides, I’d rather they spend their funds on new digs and new episodes!
