Next up from the Ness team is Sigurd Towrie.

Born and raised here in Orkney, Sigurd has an incredible knowledge of the archaeology of these islands, as well as their wildlife, culture and language. His passion for Orkney's past, combined with his deep local knowledge, has made him an invaluable part of the Ness project over the years.

He's also the person behind the Ness of Brodgar website, where he shares regular updates and in depth stories from the excavation. If you'd like to learn more about the site and follow the latest discoveries, it's well worth a visit.https://www.nessofbrodgar.co.uk/
