Five years ago, we asked for your help to bring Time Team back.

What we’ve done since then has surpassed all of our expectations.

Today, because of you, we're exploring sites like the Ness of Brodgar, returning to Sutton Hoo, uncovering new stories at Brancaster, producing award-winning documentaries, and reaching more archaeology lovers than ever before.

None of it would have happened without you answering that plea back in 2021.

Tim wanted to record this short message to personally thank you, share some exciting updates, and give you a glimpse of what's coming next for Time Team.

We hope you enjoy it - and thank you, once again, for being such an important part of the team.

If your membership is due for renewal soon, we hope you'll continue the journey with us as we are excited to offer some more volunteering opportunities exclusively for our Patreon members in the very near future!Every membership helps fund the archaeology, films and discoveries still to come.

Its our pleasure Tim! Its been great and we look forward to many more years!

Michael Crouch

Thanks, Tim. The whole Time Team experience on Patreon is amazing. I may be sat in a comfy chair at home watching the podcasts and the Digwatch videos but I really feel like a part of it. Having a couple of questions answered by Helen and Martin was great, and seeing TT win the digital award made me feel very proud to be a member. I can’t wait fore more.

Keith Briggs

Good video, but the background "music" is distracting.

Welshboy007

Michael Crouch just said it all. The same sentiment and congratulations from me,

Theresa Moller

Oh, you don't have to thank us! The history that all of your hard work brings forth is truly magic!! My heartfelt thanks to all of you for all of the wonderful history discovered over the years!💖🙏🪶👏👏👏

It's been a real privilege to be a part of Time Team and to be able to support such important work. I can't wait to see what's next!

Faytality

You are most welcome, it is nice seeing such a key staple of my childhood continue. Thank you for all your hard work.

Karen McCurdy

I am so pleased that the Team was willing to try this new world of connecting with your audience. I was discouraged some 50 years ago from becoming an anthropology major because there were no jobs in anthropology unless you got a PhD. That professor was wrong back then, but he was successful in diverting me into a different field. I am really pleased to be able to support in a small way all of the non PhD jobs that encircle Time Team. Looking forward to many more years of innovation from the worldwide “Team”.

I grew up watching time team when it started in 94. Must of been about 7 years old and would watch it every week when it was on air. To be able to return to it now in this format and support a show I loved so much growing up is a privilege. Meeting some of the team and visiting sites such as Sutton Hoo during the digs in 2024 and 2025 was something I'd never have expected to get to see and do. Thanks Tim and everyone at Time Team! Keep going, keep growing! 🪏

Thanks you to the entire Time Team family. All of you go above and beyond for the love of the dig. 🩷 I want to thank those behind the cameras and who support the projects. They don’t get the recognition they deserve for taking us, the viewers, into the trenches and making us a part of the dig not merely observers. The Podcast is brilliant and further takes the view into the discussion and discovery. Helen’s enthusiasm for the subject is so contagious! Thank you so much!

TimeTeamOfficial

Thanks for these kind words Monica, they have been passed onto the team!

fairbad

Such a privilege to be part of this and looking forward to many more years of brilliant content. Thanks Time Team for doing what you do.

Neil

Thanks Tim.. What a great journey you & the team have had!

Jon Leslie-Smith

Here's a ramble that you may have heard before. I wonder whether a specially made "promo" video focussed on what Time Team is now doing, how it is funded by the members, and all the exciting events and benefits of being a Patreon member, would help spread the word. It needs to appeal to old and new alike. Say 5 - 10 minute run time with old and new faces. Showing members as volunteers on digs etc. A video that once made can last a while and that could be used as quick link to share to friends. A great selling point is that it is not all engine a paywall. Everyone can see the main new documentaries for free. As a member you are enabling and getting bonus content.

Time Team has enriched my life--it found me during Covid lockdown, and I've been a fan and now a supporter. Thanks for keeping this going.

When Time Team faded away It seemed the end of an era but then Tim re-appeared making the case for it to return, funded by us. This was an opportunity not to be missed so I became a patron from the start, hoping for great things. I was not disappointed as it has become so much more than I could ever have hoped for. I feel sure that Mick and the others no longer with us, would be immensely proud. A thousand times more than you thank us, we thank you, and everyone involved, for what you have achieved in those 5 years.

Denis Oliver

I am happy to have supported Time Team.

Bron Lloyd

Aaaw Tim that was lovely. In 2021 when my sister told me about Patreon I couldn’t wait to join and I’m so proud to be a part of the continuing work of TT. I loved those early sessions including seeing you online during COVID and kind of miss them in a way! So many exciting things happening soon, can’t wait. I’ll be here for the duration.

Elizabeth MacLellan

Some how Time team found me on YouTube just a few years ago. I was very happy when I learned that I could support you all on patreon. I love watching and learning. Thanks for making these programs. Your presenters do a great job as well as the archaeologists explaining everything and there's usually some funny parts too.

Rebecca Clark

It is great to have an opportunity to support the work and the content keeps getting better and better.I can't wait to see what is coming up.Thank you to all involved.

JUDITH COOKE

Hello Tim, lovely to hear from you. Time Team has been going from strength to strength and it is really exciting to play a small part in its continued success. May you continue for a long time to come

Lynda

Ì love time team

I can't begin to thank you enough for all you and TT have done to enhance my life - especially since my retirement. I have two Undergraduate Certificates in Archaeology from Cambridge through their online learning program purely because I became enamoured of TT back when it was still on television here in Australia. Once you started soliciting our support to bring it back online, I joined up via Patreon, and have followed your excavations, the X crew and Jimmy's side trip to the US and all the extras that Patreon members enjoy. And, of course, the podcast, which is about the only regular podcast I follow (I think). I love it all, and appreciate everything you all do. All I can say with respect to the future, is that I hope there is a lot, lot more to come. While it worries me to see everyone getting older and greyer (like myself) I am encouraged to see how a second generation (Meg Russell) come to the fore. I've enjoyed reading Miles' books and seeing him from some of the early TT series episodes through to more recent appearances, and to see Meg now a regular part of the TT team is great. Much love and appreciation from Down Under.

Gayle Hales

Thank you so much for the best productions in the world!

David Packman

It’s a pleasure Tim, I’ve been with Time Team from the start decades ago. I’ve enjoyed all the films/programmes TT have made. Now days I miss the lovely Mick Aston, I very much miss his wise words. Keep up the good works, the Ness film was amazing.

Jill Sorel

Thank you! Your show has been such a treasure. I will make it back to Britain someday. I tell everyone!!!

Paul Saunders

Thank you, Tim and Time Team. I found the podcast after doing to a talk by Sir Tony Robinson about the novel The House of Wolf. After I finished mainlining his podcast, I started on Time Team. I watched the entirety of the old show via Netflix while isolating during the early days of the pandemic. Once I found the podcast, and got about half way through it, I became a backer just in time to get my name onto the flag

UAP Jedi

It’s an extraordinary show, but more so this new independent way of presenting the content online, social media and video platforms it feels more real, more personal. Time Team has always been extraordinary it’s changed the way archeology has been carried out and presented. No longer the just the domain of academics. It gives me goosebumps to think just how much change Time Team has been responsible for within the field but has also given ordinary people the chance to feel what it was to live as our ancestors have done, how their ordinary lives were lived. That’s the extraordinary gift that Time Team has given all of us.

Nina Gadsdon

Proud to have been here right from the very start.

Irene Daly

Time team has given so much joy and pleasure, and I’m sure it has promoted a lot of interest in archaeology. An awful lot of the success belongs t

Irene Daly

To Tim and the wonderful team who have become our friends. I look forward to not only seeing what ‘s coming up, but also, looking back on some of the amazing discoveries since the series began. Thank you one and all.

Kathy

Tim, discovering this new era of Time Team and coming on board has been pure joy and a privilege and I'm looking forward to continuing the journey for as long as possible. Thank you to the whole Time Team family and let's keep this party going.

Keith Jones

Hi Tim, a great message and update on progress the past year. Well done all. Fantastic to see TT thriving. I was about to re-join as a Patreon member - however, I will NOT be doing so - sadly - as I have no wish to pay infernal VAT on a leisure time pursuit. Why is there VAT on my membership subs?? We are already taxed to the hilt in the UK and I have no wish to add another £10+ to the Government's coffers, just because I am interested in Archaeology. Ridiculous!!

Gareth Tovey

Supporting Time Team is one thing, but the vision to bring it to life 30 or so years ago is another. Thank you Tim, Mick, and all of Time Team over the years for fundamentally changing the public face of archaeology.

Laura Soto-Barra

Tim, we learn so much with every interview and every dig. The crew is getting more and more interesting, their stories and descriptions keep us engaged and dedicated. We love seeing the original archaeologists as students and now as PhDs. The young ones today are so smart, and seeing them all interact and learning from each other is admirable. We love them all but we still miss prof. Aston and also Phil. Tim, your leadership and dedication is something special. Thank you.

Irish Smurfette

So many exciting explorations! And I enjoy each of the different types of content: podcasts, behind the scenes with our fave experts, long films and, most of all, the dig watch diaries. 😁 Thank you!!!

Marisa Mia

The whole world loves TIME TEAM 💗 Thank you for creating these fabulous shows Tim Taylor! Aloha from Hawaii 🌺🤟🏽

Super Alex Luis

And we’ve still got 5 months of it left! XD

Emily Flotilla

Thanks, Tim, and everyone at Time Team! And to all patrons! Been a Patreon since your inception. (Minus a month or two, when my card expired, sorry about that) You keep my neurons fired up on the technology of today discovering the technology of our forebearers! Well done.

Nessi505

I liked the music! It suited the video - inspiring :)

Fred Myers

Thank you, Tim! I may be downvoted to oblivion but, I think enough time has passed since the old man has passed that it might be cool to see if there could be another try at integrating Mrs. Ochota. I know she got a bit of knocking around; I too am guilty of jumping on the bandwagon at the time. I think it would be a nice cameo, to say the least. Cheers.

Alan Youngman

I have paid Patreon money for Timeteam membership for two years but have never received any information or contact from Timeteam. How can I contact them to see whether or not I Amon their membership list?

Alan Youngman

I have found that I have paid money to Patreon for two years and they have confirmed that it is for Timeteam membership. I have never received any information from Timeteam. Please can you tell me how to check to see whether or not I am down as a supporter?

Luke T Jacobs

Great video Tim!!! So happy to contribute and support the work, and selfishly, my entertainment, LOL

Peter Farrington

I've been a fan of Time Team from day one and I was extremely disappointed when Chn 4 discontinued one of the few intelligent programmes which not only entertained but also educated in a very enjoyable way, as a result of the past programmes when I heard that there was a chance for TT to return through People Funding I couldn't not refuse to join via Patreon and I have been disappointed. Being in my 9th decade I now have a few ailments which have limited my participation in many of my previous hobbies, TT has filled most of the gap and the YouTube videos allow me to view the entire earlier programmes so I am never bored. I'm looking forward to the new programmes and good hunting for the future.

Joe Keller

Love Time Team. 👍👍👍😊
