Your Chance To Join Time Team In Lincoln! (Patreon)

We’re delighted to finally open expressions of interest to join us on our upcoming excavation in Lincoln!

From 2nd–4th October, Time Team will be working in partnership with the University of Lincoln and Anglia Ruskin University to investigate an exciting medieval site – and we have a very limited number of opportunities for members of our Patreon community to get involved on site.

This is your chance to experience a Time Team dig from the other side of the screen, working alongside the team across the three-day excavation. There’ll be a range of activities to get involved with, and you don’t need any previous archaeological experience.

As part of this excavation, human remains are likely to be encountered, so it’s important that anyone expressing an interest is comfortable with the nature of the archaeology. As always, any human remains will be treated with the appropriate professional care, dignity and respect.

Could you join us?

If spending three days on a Time Team dig in Lincoln sounds like your kind of adventure, we’d love to hear from you!

Places are extremely limited, and unfortunately we won’t be able to accommodate everyone who applies. You’ll need to be available to commit to all three days, and successful applicants will be chosen at random after the entries have closed. Please note - if you are successful you will be contacted via email.

Please read all the information in the form carefully before submitting, including details about the excavation, human remains, dates, travel and practical requirements.

Expressions of Interest close at 11:59pm (BST) on Wednesday 9th September.
