❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Zoe Propper

Good to hear from you Mick. Hope life is good stateside.

Sara Dorman

We loved that but wasn’t he “Mick the Twig”?

TimeTeamOfficial

Mick started as 'the Dig' before a career change to become 'the Twig' as a dendrochronologist - tree ring dating

Greg Davies

Great to see Mick!... If I could make one small request it would be, please no music over dialog. I don't know what the rest of your target demographic is like, but my hearing needs all the help it can get. Love what you're doing and soooo glad to support you!

Sara Dorman

Thanks for clearing that up! what was the name of the digger driver? we thought he was 'Mick the dig?

Sarah Corrigan

I second the request re music ... a touch too distracting xx

Matthew Kirsch

Mick the Dig looks younger now than he did 25 years ago. Whats his secret?

Sussie Thyssen

So wonderful to see you again Mick. And totally agree on the favorite digsite

TimeTeamOfficial

Noted! Thanks for the support and feedback. Look out for more on the way...

TimeTeamOfficial

You might be thinking of Ian Barclay – an under acknowledged but very important part of the team, who is sadly no longer with us.

Stan Hughes

Really amusing and great to see you again, thanks for this!

Susie Stockton-Link

Often wondered what you were up to! Delighted to see you and DO hope that you'll manage to be "in the thick of it" somehow!

Irene Daly

One of the big reasons for the success of Time Team has to be their total lack of falsehood. They We’re genuine people who spoke to all of us, especially those of us who have no knowledge, or, like me, hated history at school!

Mac Whatley

We are lucky to have him as close as Maryland. He has done fascinating work in North Carolina.

Sara Dorman

quite right! Obviously not been paying enough attention in our many rewatchings. thank you!

Eggs Ackley

Yes, great to hear from the “Dig/Twig”. Drop by Washington State sometime. We have a few trees here that you could bore.

Madeleine Clark

So glad to be able to support this wonderful Team

Carole Cox

Turkdean one of my favorite too! Can we go back?

Derek Thom

Thank you Mick. Your part in the output, although behind the scenes so as to speak, was brilliant.🤙

Larissa Spiker

Love it!! So much personality in Mick. He great!

Christopher Samuel

Am I right in thinking that Ian Barclay also did one of the Time Team America digs too?

Todd R

Hello from a fellow Baltimorean.

David Gabriel

Much of Time Team's success was that elusive, graceful blend of TV entertainment and Archeology taken seriously! Mick 'The Dig' was both muscle and heart in the original series!

Kelly Kearns

Nice to see you again, Mick!

Allen Hemphill

Thanks for being willing to work hard again!

Ann Wagner

Hello from a fellow Marylander! I’m in Arkansas now, but my heart is always in Maryland. I’m an art historian and curator. We have a 1638 Dutch painting on wood panel. I wonder if that could be dendo dated to confirm the date?

Pat Sinatra

Your hair is crazy? Not as crazy as it was long in those early episodes. When you switched roles to dendrochronology, I didn’t recognize you (without your long hair and hardhat.) It also added to my confusion that I watched episodes out of chronological order. Welcome back!

Jenna Chanthavisay

I agree with Pat Sinatra. I watched, and am still watching, the episodes out of order and It took me a bit to figure out that it was you, lol! I am so excited to see you as a part of the Team again!

JIm ford

Yeh remember the time you would not give Tony a date on a wood sample grat tv thanks Mick the dig

Hakon Soreide

Oh yes. That was so annoying it started getting funny. Everyone else in the Team doesn't mind conjecturing or estimating like crazy, but the dendochronologist's mouth is sealed until he is at 4 sigma certainty. Tony seemed a bit miffed...

A Bleese

I agree about losing the 1980s video game music, it brings nothing to the video.

Patrick Keefe

Mick, How much do you miss British beer ?

John Porter

Get rid of the horrible "music" - it is a distraction from the very interesting content. And it would be nice to hear the questions, rather than have to read them.

TimeTeamOfficial

Thanks John, it's been noted and removed from upcoming 'Meet the Crew' segments for your listening pleasure! We're working on a range of different formats, including more in-depth interviews and conversations between the wider team, so please keep a look out for more anecdotes and insights coming soon...

Godfrey

love the show use to watch it as a teenager in the 90s and rediscovered it during covid lock downs and been binge watching it ever since really hope for a new show but am happy to watch extra content through patreon

Kristna Evans

Please do axe the music during the interview and please have the questions spoken. If you happen to look away from the screen at the wrong moment you don't know what the question was (I can't be the only person who multitasks while watching Time Team over and over - and now these extra tidbits! But I'm still not going to sit and stare at the screen when the content is almost entirely audio). And it feels better as a conversation!

TimeTeamOfficial

Hi Kristna, thanks for the feedback – we're taking everything on board! This is just a small snapshot of what's still to come... there's a wide range of content on the way across the various levels. This will include extended interviews and many flowing conversational pieces, alongside some more visual step-by-step examples of techniques and processes from our experts in the field. Where possible we hope to cater for various different ways people like to watch/listen. We're looking into some other options for those who enjoy listening like the radio, so please do watch this space! Best wishes from all the team.

Elizabeth Towers

Can't wait to see u in action again. I hope to see as many of the old time team members in action as possible.

Terri

Love this guy!!!

William Seabrook

First thing that came up on my screen was a pic of what TV folk call "color bars", i.e. a tool for testing color accuracy in a TV signal. But, what immediately popped into my head ?! . . . that it was a closeup of Mick Aston's vertical-striped jumper. ;-D RIP Mick!
