Thank you everyone for joining us for an amazing weekend and the second of two truly incredible digs!

We now have the fun task of reviewing all the footage shot over the weekend, completing the trench recording and post-excavation analysis.

While Day Three is complete, we have a lot more to come here on Dig Watch, from the villa site and also our first dig in Cornwall.

Upcoming highlights include on-site interviews with Natalie Haynes, John Gater, Prof Suzannah Lipscomb, Neil Holbrook, and our Director Emily Boulting, among others.

We have more insights from the trenches, more 3D models and virtual reality explorations, the results of Neil Emmanuel's scribing session (featuring special guest Helen Geake), finds processing info from Dani Wootton and Naomi Sewpaul, aerial footage and much more!

Now, everyone can start on the process of finding new muscle pains from being cramped over a laptop screen, rather than shovelling.

Can’t wait. Loving the interviews, models and hints about what has been found. So much better than just a final edited cut. They will be good though.

Steve Knott

Can't wait. It's been great following your 2 weekend digs 😀

My kids keep asking, ‘When’s the show?’ 🤦🏻‍♂️ ‘Soon guys, we have to be patient.’

Steve Gunning

’Tomorrow? But that’s too lonnnnnng!’ 😂

Paul Miller

what is the expected timeline for seeing the two shows? In the meantime, thanks for keeping the goodies coming - the appetizer, as it were,s before the 3-course meal!

Fern Wilcox

Wow and wow again. All of the videos and info shared have been wonderful. You are ALL the gift that keeps on giving! Please thank everyone, from the catering folks to all the behind the scenes folks there isn't time to meet! They, and you, are responsible for an extraordinary journey. Please share that I haven't stopped smiling since the first Patreon video. Cheers from a happy Minnesotan.

Mica McPheeters

Exciting to wake up to a list of goodies coming our way!

Martha Berryman

Saying same, only from the FIRST 1994 (?) Time Team, enjoying over and over, always insightful, always full of admiration for your collective scholarship and abilities presented for our education and enjoyment.

Mark & Jill Jefson

My wife and I really enjoy the greater depth we get from all the additional coverage. The interviews are marvelous. Please keep it coming. We were wondering if the final program will be limited to the one hour format of the original Time Team.

Carol Edwards

I haven't been able to see the 3-D models; they just appear as a few irregular angular blocks. Do I need special software?

Don Cook

Don't think so...just went to the site---takes awhile to load ... and it's there...i have bought no special software.

Sam Kimpel

I'll take every little bit you offer, with glee. Thanks so much - it was so great to look forward to these two weekends, and I can't wait for episodes and more!

Jude Edling

A hundred times Thank You!!!!!

Elaine P

Have tremendously enjoyed this journey, from all the pre-dig interviews and discussions right up to the present, and I'm sure the same will be true for wherever TT takes us in the future with these digs. Really neat experience. So, uh, what's next? 10 more episodes, right? I'm sure I heard someone say that in one of the interviews....

Richard Yoast

Getting back to basics - why three days? What is the scientific basis for that time period or did it come originally from the TV funders and has simply been continued? How does a three day time span differentiate the results from other lengths of time?

Kathryn Phelps

All these people have day jobs. They're professional, commercial, archaeologists, lecturers professors, and have commitments to employers, students and PhD candidates as well as Local Authorities and companies. Some diggers are students.

Dorothy Frank

We want to help you with your editing! In order to spend less time and effort deciding what to cut out in order to get an hour long show per dig, how about two hour long shows? Oh oh, or three? Just think of the time you will save! (Is it working? 🤔☺️)

Mark Howell

Great job, Dig Watch! Keep up the flow.

Doug Mackey

Thank you and thank you again. Our Time Teams dreams are being realized by you all!

Susie Stockton-Link

I've asked that - there MUST be enough material from 45 hours' filming to make 2 one hour programmes for a single site. That's 4 hours of delight for we Patreons!

Richard Yoast

thanks - pragmatism is always a factor

Penny Ewles-Bergeron

I've thoroughly enjoyed every offering via Patreon. It's lovely to feel part of another set of archaeological adventures. Thank you!
