In case you've missed it, here's our latest YouTube announcement video outlining our exciting plans with the National Trust at Sutton Hoo, an update on the recent digs and wider developments.

We will be sharing early details of our initial 'longlist' of potential sites for next year soon exclusively here on Patreon. We've already had some very exciting suggestions from our friends and family, that we look forward to sharing and hearing your feedback on.

But we want to hear your ideas too! As Tim mentions, we are putting together a formal process for suggesting potential sites to us, and we will be sharing full details in due course. Of course, there are many factors involved in taking on a site for investigation and there is no guarantee a site will be feasible – but this is the first step to making it a reality.

Donna Oglesby

look forward to 2022 and the new digs.

Rick Hubbard

All these plans for a future I won't see. I don't know how long I have left with my cancer, I am already 3 months past the 2 years the doctors gave me, but I will support you for as long as I can.

Kieran Gane

Fabulous. Tim deserves an OBE!

Kieran Gane

Very sorry to hear that Rick. I hope you will be able to keep watching for a while.

Daniel Defoe

Congrats and glad to have been a part of it!!

Trish Murphy

Can’t say I’m not disappointed that the new delivery date is spring. Last we heard it was Dec/Jan

Melissa Rybb

Can't wait . . . but I must!

I am so excited about the upcoming episodes. I am also excited to see time teams involvement with the Sutton Hoo site. I have to say that it was a brief mention in my Senior English class textbook when I was in High school here in America, that ignited my interest in archeology many years ago. More years than I would like to admit.

I feel as though there is a strong chance that the new Time Team will lose the wood for all of the trees. I subscribed to fund new episodes of the programme and fear that some of these other projects might be taking resources away from that,

Gwen Hardie Bauer

I hope that more of the old team make guest appearances. Having watched the programs over the years, they became almost like neighbors. I liked the original format and hope that the new Time Team will continue to focus on the archeology and science.
