Thank you to everyone who has shown an interest in adding a name to the Time Team 2022 Flag of Fame. We are pleased to announce that you can now submit your chosen name for the flag via this form: https://forms.gle/RtdbGKS5EB8yjE2x9

PLEASE NOTE: Even if you submitted your name last year, you must OPT IN AGAIN to be featured on the new 2022 flag!

Names must be submitted by 23:59 BST, Wednesday 20th July 2022.

You mentioned we could dedicate it to others, specifically in memory of those that have passed. Any chance there'll be a sort of in memory section at the bottom or something? I want to dedicate it to my dad who died 2 years ago. He never got to see this revival, but he would have been thrilled. So far all the combinations I've made with something to denote "in memory" make it over 20 char.

I cannot see where we submit our name for the flag. I followed the link to that form. At the bottom of the page it says: "THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING US THIS YEAR! To submit your chosen name click below to head to the next section and ensure you complete your submission by 23:59 BST, Wednesday 20th July 2022...". But all I see at the bottom of the page is a link to the terms and conditions. The terms and conditions page does not show where I can submit my name either. I have been a Patreon supporter from the start. I would have thought my name would have been carried over from last year? I looked at the form with 2 browsers, but could not see where I submit my name at all? Update: Please ignore what I put. I found out that you have to click "NEXT" at the bottom of the page. This was not really very clear as to what we had to do.

Hi, it's a lovely idea to use the flag to remember others and wondeful to honour your dad. All names are integrated into the same single area, rather than a separate section. Unfortunately we do need to keep the same character limit for each entry to allow space for everyone to include their contributions. It's understood that many names are dedications, so no need to include 'in memory of' part. We hope that helps.

Thought I missed this opportunity to memorialise my Father on his favorite show, so glad I got an email reminding me to do this today. Added his name and mine because it fit. He would be chuffed to know he is a part of this if he was still around.

I am sure that it’s shown quite a lot, in most of the videos of the digs, as a background, but having a good picture which can easily be blown up so that we can see where the names we have given can be found, is a very good idea too…….. But unless we can show that it would be something that enough of us would buy, because they have to be able to make something to go into their coffers for the future programs, then it’s not going to be happening……..

I would appreciate at least one full clear shot of it on the actual program. I tried pausing and seeing my name whenever I would see them talking in front of it but never could read it. Just a quick 1 second frame of it would be great so I could show my name on an actual episode ;p

Any update on the flag? Has it been created, I submitted name, but nothing regarding flag since.

Well I thought I had filled out the form and added my name. Just searched on the pdf download of the flag and it's not there. Oh well.
