That was lovely to watch! Big fan of archaeology and water colors! Thank you!

Evelyn Vollmer

Wonderful to have a new illustrator! But Victor will never be forgotten.

Edward Catalano

There is something about the watercolors. As much as I miss Victor Ambrus, Jon has been just as great!

Alana Tolstad

Wow, this was enjoyable! Where's the picture now?!

André Beuving

Very nice job Jon! Always great to see how a creative mind can convert theory and pieces of information into a practical visual representation.

William Rome

Ahhhh...the hair dryer technique! Many, many years ago I dabbled in water color and never once thought about using a hair dryer to dry the media. Great job.

Sharyle Doherty

So glad you’re carrying on the tradition of illustrating the past. It really brings it to life. Lovely illustration of the funeral procession.

Jude Edling

I love this video, thank you. A hairdryer is a clever addition to a watercolorist's toolbox. It's a lovely picture and I'm so glad Jon is carrying on Victor's role on Time Team.

John Matthew IV

Love the use of a hair dryer, I wonder if Rembrandt used one.

Keith Jackson

I'm always fascinated by artists working. I have less artistic talent than a tree so I can only watch in awe.

JFF

Just wonderful and brings the story to life, imagining the sounds and smells of the event ….. as if we’re distant mourners looking on

Alan Murdock

He did forget to put a dog in it somewhere.

Rubys Rose

The music however isn’t fitting in my mind; how about some classics as Midsomer murders or the amazing Phelon’s masterpieces.

Nicole Loxley

That was a lot of fun to watch, thank you!

Patricia Amero

Many thanks to the wonderfully talented Jon Elworthy and this beautifully rendered image... setting the archaeology into the landscape so perfectly. Will limited edition prints be made available for purchase by Patrons? I'd certainly be interested in a copy ... 😊 👍

Happy New Year Time Team from Colorado. I live on a farm at 7500 ft, I find flint everywhere and have really been educated by Phil. I’m starting a trench when the ground thaws….lol.❤️
