Freda Seddon

Could you post the geophizz and drone images please? It was very difficult to see on the video. Perhaps with notes on interpretation.

Chris Bate

Loved the crickets & Derek snoring!!!! Brilliant guyz....

Stitch

Enjoyed the interviews. Cheers to Stephen Sourby (sp?) for saving the stables and his help in reassembling them in the Taccoa Museum.

Jakub Jůzl

Didn't expect this to be so gripping and well edited! Great job so far.

Steve Jeffery

Could somebody have a quiet word with Derek and point out it's a "Nissen Hut", developed during the First World War by Major Peter Norman Nissen of the 29th Company, Royal Engineers, and nothing to do with Nissan the car manufacturer. Thanks. ;)

Steve Jeffery

Incidentally somebody said on day 1, I think, that Quonset Hut was the American name for a Nissen Hut, and that's not entirely true. The Nissen was developed in 1916, while the Quonset didn't come along 'til 1941. They have a few differences in design, so it might be interesting to know which those buildings you're chasing actually were given that they're situated in the UK but serving the needs of US troops.

Su Maneck

Thoroughly enjoyed listening to Matt Williams! He should present more!!!

Eggs Ackley

Derek and Laurence, now widely known as “Flash” and “Thunder”.

Clive McIntyre

With that level of snoring, we now know which should be Thunder!

Kate

Patreon members should compete to make the best cocktail called GeoPhizz. Someone else noticed the catchy name, now let's turn it into pub drink ;-)

Jon Colcord

That snoring freaked out my cat! 🐈‍⬛

Doug Lucey

Another great dig watch production

Cheryl Kurucz

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Nathan Smith

I know nothing about making cocktails, but I love some good word play. I would suggest that at minimum the drink should have some mineral water in it.

David Boon

The best dig watches by far. I know they are able to reveal more and know exactly where many things were located but I enjoyed actually learning more about the context and finds along the way. Matt is a natural front man. Loving his work and that of the dynamic duo.

Kate

There could be a non alcoholic version, of course! Both could have fizzy water. Do we have any bartenders in the gang?

Freda Bradley

My father was in Korea, but he had one of those crickets when I was little. I'd forgotten about that, but as soon as I saw it, I remembered his being in my mother's jewelry box.

Melissa Nelson

Thank you so much for participating in this dig. It is important work. As a Patreon supporter, I feel like I am part of it. Thank you for that as well.

Patricia Amero

What a great idea, Kate. 😁👍 I'd LOVE to be an 'official taste tester'... I mean, we all have to do our part...right? 😬 lol

Sue Tweedie

Great coverage folks! Not a period i have any interest in - however, you have captured my interest! Thank you

Stephanie Hogan

This series is exactly what I was hoping for when I joined Patreon. There's so much emphasis on ancient history that I think "recent" events get short shrift sometimes, despite their historical importance. Great job by Matt as presenter, and loving the living history bits and interviews with the Operation Nightingale veterans. Thumbs up all around!

Di

Enjoying the dig very much & the humor
