All I can say is, if it were me and it was a franchise I adored with all my heart, I wouldn't want to wait to watch it. I'd want to support it with my money and enjoy it as soon as possible. For example, I adore Superman and there was no way I wasn't going to see the new movie opening night to support it (I loved it!) so as a fan and someone who knows how much you love IKWYDLS, I'd want you to be happy and go watch it and support it as soon as you can

as someone who also adores this franchise if it were me personally i would go to the theaters and enjoy it privately so i could just have fun and take it all in and appreciate it's return while also contributing to the opening weekend box office numbers also because it's going to be torture waiting for vod and continuing to dodge spoilers
