When there's some supernatural bullshit happening but the beat is kinda fire? Honestly I always assumed the dude had some genetic disease, like inherited from the grandpa, especially since at the cementary he mentioned a lot of his family died young. The mud monster is like death I guess? Always coming closer or something. Thought this was a cute movie and definitely glad it kept it under 90 minutes, could have easily felt wayyy too long if it went over.
