I thought this was very heartfelt and moving. The whole show was beautiful filmed. That final scene was, as you say, a reflection on passing of time. First Lisa dies, then the dog, and eventually he will go. The added touch of the trees turning autumnal was lovely. My only criticism of this episode was that not enough focus was given to the nurse (forgot her name). It felt like a footnote. Sure, it’s alluded to that she may get close to her old friend. But I felt she should have featured at the fair.

I loved this show and these reactions was my second run through of the entire series. There’s so much to say about it and all it’s characters and memorable moments, but to keep it as brief as i can, in my opinion i think it’s probably the best show Ricky has made and I’ve enjoyed all his shows. Like Derek, It’s definitely had the most emotional impact on me as well as some of the best laughs I’ve had. The show did air around the time i was dealing with grief, so it definitely had more of an impact on me i think. It also helped me in a way, especially with it making me laugh again. I know the show is over the top at times with some gross humour, which can be off putting to some but i think Ricky did a fantastic job with balancing the comedy and the heartfelt moments. And i love Gervais’s sense of humour. The show was often dark and very emotional so it’s not for everyone, it is also a show you have to be in the right mindset to get the best out of it, i think. I think the final scene is one of the most heartfelt moments Ricky has made, the fading away images of Lisa, his dog Brandy and then Tony as he walks away, as the season changed, it was just beautifully done. I do wonder about the expression on Lenny’s face as he looks at his camera, after he takes Tony’s photo, it might just be a concerning look or maybe Tony didn’t appear in the photo, like he’s an angel, especially with all the talk about angels in the last couple of episodes and Anne saying Tony was her angel 🤷‍♂️. I’m probably reading too much into it there. I enjoyed your reactions Josh, I’m glad you enjoyed the show. Lol i said keep it brief then wrote all that.

The wedding dress that June was wearing looked new. I think Lenny would have given her the money out of what Tony gave him.
