A Refreshing Change is on the Horizon (Patreon)

While I much prefer substance over style, it's become painfully obvious to me over the last year or so that the SCR logo and website were due for some attention. My time has been quite limited since I started my new job back in October, so the website will likely have to wait for a while yet, but I got some time this past weekend to at least work on a new logo with some input from a friend of mine and this is what I'm considering.

My friend also has some concepts he is working on which I'm quite excited about, but I think I'm settled on this for principal branding. I tried to go for something bold, concise, approachable and a little playful, while keeping the existing colour scheme. What do you guys think?

I'm going to get a more comprehensive overview of my current projects and plans put together for you guys this weekend. My Patreon content has been kind of scarce over the last year and that isn't right.
