April Projects Update (Part 1) (Patreon)
Content
Hey guys! It's been a while since I've done a comprehensive run-down of where my projects are at. Every time I start writing an update, I get about halfway through looking at everything before I get sidetracked and end up working on something. Let's see how far I get this time... 😅
Scot A2HD
The 2.0 release went relatively well, with a couple of minor bugs addressed in the subsequent 2.0.1 patch. I'm currently working on the 2.0.2 patch which adds chrome tanks, some new bumper and grill options, new/refreshed UI icons, and some more bug fixes. I think I have the feature set for 2.0.2 pretty much locked in, so that should be easily doable by the end of the month.
Once that's out, I can start on the next phase of v2, which is a further interior overhaul for 2.1, which should include things like a reworked steering column (read: signal-stat, trailer hand valve, etc), sun visors, gauges, dash panels, and a whole bunch of other things that really haven't aged well over the last six years.
GMC General
Work on the General has been somewhat stalled while I pushed the Scot v2 update out. As I mentioned previously, ATS 1.40 kind of forced my hand. That said, I've gotten a decent amount of work done on various brackets, the suspension (GMC's short-lived air suspension), some exhaust stack options, a ton of bumper options, and probably a bunch of other things I've forgotten.
Trailmobile SuperVan 90
This one is frustratingly close to being ready for release. I've gotten all of the chassis components switched to a tiled material, and rebaked, and have all of the new extended shadow textures baked. The only hold-ups right now are some details on the Heat King front body, and the roll-door rear body accessories, and then just UI icons. There've just been bigger fish to fry.
Pacific P-500F
A while ago, I teased some technical reference you guys helped me buy for Pacific trucks. The first fruits of that are well underway. I took a little maiden voyage in a still very WIP Pacific P-500F yesterday..
As you can see, it still has a long way to go, but it should be quite a looker when it's finished!
To be continued...
