Just realized you dont have on the subtitles for when grandma speaks. Abuela never speaks English 99% of the series but is HILARIOUS. Like the beginning when she hears him grunting in the room, shes thinking hes doing something ELSE with his fist LoL. “I’m almost finished!”

I didn't understand why Ayesha even suggested her and Samantha pair up with Halloween outfits. They have barely been speaking, and Sam has been hanging out with the other girls more. We've seen no scenes with Ayesha and Sam really conversating. I know it's for plot point purposes, but it just annoyed me that Ayesha would even bother asking. I guess Ayesha was trying to be friendly and thought maybe this could be a way for her and Sam to hang out and bond like they did at camp. And the lady in the cafeteria talking about not bringing up names but mentions a facial deformity knowing Eli is the only one in the cafeteria with that and she was looking at him while making the announcement.....REALLY LADY!!!! Leo, you did not say "Sodium is over there eating sodium".....LOL!!!!

A lot if this episode seemed like pilot episode material that they crammed in since it wasnt time in Episode 1. I mean i guess it payed off because it got picked up by Netflix and added more seasons. But yeah, they could’ve approached that better. Or at least say that they originally planned it and Sam backed out.

I just thought they used to be best friends until that summer when Sam got in with the popular girls. Ayesha was in denial of the fact Sam "moved on", Just adding to the awkwardness and Innocence of her character when she assumed they were going to be matching like they did in the past- I'm guessing. it's pretty sad tbh but time to make real friends for Ayesha
