Idk if you’re new here or not but this is literally how it goes every time lol. He goes MIA, then pops back up and makes a post about committing to a schedule, follows schedule for a few days time, then completely abandons schedule, then goes back to just doing drops at random, and then the cycle eventually repeats with zero explanation lol. Any sort of expectations will just lead to disappointment so best to just go with the flow!

That's exactly why I am saying this- because I've been here for years and am genuinely curious what's going on and a little concerned tbh- just because something is a recognizable pattern doesn't make it any more understandable as to why it persists. Like if it's pressure from US constantly demanding more that gets him to try and commit to a schedule his life doesn't allow him to keep that would really suuck. I'm sure no one here wants to be a part of that pressure making him stress more than needed while he also has his private life to balance. My comment was more out of concern for Leo , not impatience about drops.

This genre of scifi — giant dystopian megacorporations, civic collapse, people living in 'high-tech, low-life' situations, e.g. living in squalor but surrounded by technology — is called cyberpunk. The original Blade Runner is probably the best piece of cyberpunk media there is. The Matrix had a ton of cyberpunk elements. Minority Report too, a bit. Dredd is another one. It's one of my favorites. The best cyberpunk novel out there is William Gibson's Neuromancer. There's also a tabletop RPG called Cyberpunk, which is what the video game Cyberpunk 2077 is based off of.

i don't believe deckard is a replicant, just because he doesn't have that super strength. it seemed like they all had it as far as we could see in both movies. especially since in the first movie he was struggling to survive against roy.

Its to fund someone that you support(not trying to be mean its really the origional purpose for patreon). This aint exactly netflix. Sure my comment was a bit of an oxymoron. But Leo posting on Patreon is a great example of the free market. You don’t have to pay for his “service” he doesn’t have to provide his “service”. What u pay 5$ for is not a pinky promise of him saying he’s gonna release a certain amount of videos in a certain time. He says that because people aren’t willing to look past there own personal gains and think maybe he’s busy? Idk he’s probably touching grass. I love how Leo was thinking out loud during this movie- was fun seeing the connections being made and him coming up with theories on the spot. Another classic Sci Fi that will get the gears moving in your brain is the Thing.

The Deckard being a Replicant issue had an interesting evolution through the years and it depended on what version of the film one watched. The theatrical release is pretty different from the Final Cut version. The Final Cut doesn't directly say Deckard is a Replicant but Ridley Scott leaned heavily towards that direction through subtle visual imagery.

The Final Cut of the first Blade Runner film leans heavily towards him being a replicant though as you rightfully point out, there are no 100% yes or no answer to the issue.
