On the "is this normal?" thing, I think this is a turning point where some people started hating the show. The "documentary about office workers" conceit of season 1 is quickly turning into relationship melodrama and unbelievable things like the camera crew filming "I'm going to kill Jim Halpert" and then just saying nothing to Jim. I love it though, I know you'll stick it out to the end and it's definitely worth it.

Your Office drops are good medicine for bad days. The world was on one today and I was overwhelmed by the chaos of it all. My own day was just slipping on banana peels, stepping on rakes, and pianos falling on my head from the moment I got up. Enjoying this episode was truly the respite I needed. Also, Pam isn't responsible for the way Roy reacted to her disclosure. She's accountable for the kiss and for the consequences to the relationship,but not roy's actions. Also also, I know they're fictional.
