Wrong, wrong, wrong about camping, Leo. lol My family (Black folks from the Midwest) has gone camping every summer since the 1980’s. We pitched tents, cooked food outside, etc. As the years went by and I moved away to NY, my family still goes but it’s kinda turned into “glamping”. Even my grandma would go each year with her own tent and supplies. She’d sleep with a weapon under her pillow just in case someone/something wanted to FAFO. Last summer was her last camping trip as she is in her 90’s now. My mom has started going on RV camping trips with a group of her friends. I’ve gone camping several times with other groups since leaving home. So Black people definitely camp in the woods, Leo. You should try it with your kids and/or with some friends. 😁
