This movie has grown on me but I get like PTSD everytime I watch it.. I took my nephew too see it and ended up getting all buzzed before the movie, really buzzed.. I just couldn't get into the movie, kept finding things funny that weren't so I was laughing, kept telling my nephew "Oh this movie sucks, it's trash" and finally some dude yells at me from the back "if you don't like it just leave!" So almost got into it... I feel like shit and an asshole about it still everytime I think about it but I don't drink at the movies anymore! Haha that was my bad but I've watched this like 4 times since it's come out and it's grown on me a bit more each time.. Keep up the good content bro and enjoy doing GOAT stuff 🔥

If you’re getting into horror I’d love to see some actual hitters, Black Swan is fantastic, Bram Stoker’s Dracula you missed when doing your Keanu binge so that would be great, Godzilla Minus One is the best Godzilla flick since Shin Godzilla and definitely worth your watch, and for a wildcard theres a classic horror flick called Black Christmas which I won’t tell you anything about. Go in blind!

This one is better than the first one bc of the better subtext I feel. It’s higher scale sure but the first one was kinda just about mental illness in general and this one is too but also about drug abuse and fame and what success and all these eyes on you does to you going through a traumatic time. And you’re right she should’ve gone with Morris the second he offered it. The calls from her mom and from her agency and management back to back to back was supposed to seem like them worrying about her but it was the monster trying to draw her away. It knew it hadn’t fully taken over her and it was afraid of being killed so it tried literally everything it could to get her to answer her phone and leave and eventually all it took was someone to recognize her and she was gone. There’s always a no going back moment in these movies and that was it for this one.

this movie finally showcases how talented Naomi Scott is.. I felt bad for her being in 3 major remakes that ended up flopping, on paper Pink Ranger (Power Rangers reboot), Princess Jasmine (Live Action Aladdin movie) and one of the three Charlie's Angles (reboot) sounds good, but they all flopped or didn't make enough money to keep those possible franchises going.

Man the one shot take in the beginning is sooooo sick! I think the only stitch in frame is when the camera goes out the window but still fucking amazing. This movie is so damn good the actress i forget her name though just does such an amazing job. Truly immersed the entire movie.
