This movie is awesome. Trank sort of blew up his career with FantasticFour (the one before the new marvel one). Right before the movie came out he badmouthed it on twitter and complained about the studio ruining his film. It's bad when a director shits on the movie before it comes out, so no one wanted to work with him after that. He was supposed to direct a Star Wars but forget it. There's more to it of course, i hear his Capone movie is interesting, and he's working now on an indie horror.

Why did the studio/director cut so much from this? The theatrical cut is garbage compared to this. I mean it's no Oscar winner I guess but since I saw it originally it seems like it has better pacing and fills in gaps, etc. Ty for watching the extended cut I haven't seen it personally 👍

Just wanted to say this movie reminded me a lot of Brightburn and Project Almanac, little known hand footage style movie about a group of kids going to college who end up creating a time machine. Super good for not being a AAA title imo.

I guarantee he will NOT get good reviews reacting to that movie. It's HIGHLY OVERRATED, just like Sinners was. Just because these movies win Hollywood awards doesn't mean they are good. There are plenty of movies that got lots of awards and are given out because the movie pushes certain themes, agendas or because certain people are in the movies, doesn't mean that it's a good movie. Besides, who is still watching the Golden Globes, the Oscars or any of these award shows anyway? I don't get the hype with the movie, Leo has done WAY better movies in his career along with Sean Penn. But, if Leo decides to watch it anyway, then whatever.

Andrew is in a show called American Primeval on Netflix. It’s an 8 episode mini series, about the Mormons and Native Americans, and it is INSANE. Literally never wanted to stop watching. So brutal, and so mesmerizing. Everyone would love that show, highly recommend.
