I don't watch this show or the majority of the movies lately and I know I've been a broken record asking for star Trek 2009 or Princess and the Frog, but I'm not going to do that this time. I just want to say that I see your effort, I see how much you do and even though most of it isn't interesting to me, this is still the best reaction channel because you really do CARE about your subscribers! You really get into the reactions and you are extremely consistent putting out stuff people like. This might just be me, but some of these episodes I feel like you gotta let breathe a bit when they end, especially with some of the absolute banger music choices this show has. Not necessarily something I mean that you put on camera, but for your own benefit, I really think some room reflection room should be given, if only for like a minute

i know christopher is one of the only actors you recognize i know you recognize him from goodfellas i love how theres an easter egg about how christophers actor got shot in the foot in that movie and then he ends up shooting someone in the foot in this show lol anyway also one of the big things about the sopranos is the music this show introduced me to some great music so i hope your listening to some of those ending songs as a fellow music lover , and i wondered too if the show would have been much better if it just focused on the mafia stuff only and not all the side quest stuff to like the stuff with his mother and the kids and all the other side characters but who knows but not gonna lie i would have loved to just watch a mafia show about just straight gangster shit ,oh and since you're into this show already you gotta put boardwalk empire on the list an excellent show about old time gangsters

Ok just finished. Leo! You were talking about how one person wrote this story perhaps and if it’s based off a real story. Show was created by David Chase. They had a team of writers go in on writing sessions every season. There’s a great documentary on David chase on hbo that you should watch after you finish the show. It takes a few times of watching the show to start picking up on a few details that point to the great writing and intricacies but you’re getting most of it!

I know there is a comment or two about the great writing and how there was a team of them. Michael Imperioli (Chrissy) wrote a few great episodes even. However, you mentioned in the outro how this seems like this is a story about 1 man's life. The dynamic between Tony & his mom and Tony & Dr. Melfi is from 1 man's life experiences. That is creator David Chase and Livia is his mother. In fact when his extended family watches the series they will say "that's grandma!" or "that is Aunt so and so"💯 The interactions in the first season comes form a lot of the sessions that David Chase had with his psychiatrist in real life.

P.S. There were real made men and other people connected to the mafia who were consultants for the show and some of the best episodes and crazy stories are very true stories. After you are done with the series you should watch Talking Sopranos with Christopher & Bobby (Michael & Steve) and you will learn a lot about the show. There was so many great minds and great artists who had a hand in making this show the masterpiece it is. Everyone from the show that is on the podcast always brings up how the show was a once in a lifetime experience and it felt like a real family and it was the best job they ever had by far. Even the guest stars talk about how special it was and they never felt anything like it.
