Hello there, the new update was incoming fine with a new school advancing the story towards end of chapter 5, with a little extra for those on Cleavon's road...

Sadly as I already informed on Discord yesterday night, my computer decided to die on me (had DAZ and the computer working "funny", so I decided to reboot and ended up with him deciding not to, looping on the launching screen), I do not know the extent of the damages, though I at least don't think I have a loss of data and just a component that fried (well, a bit of hopeful thinking there), I'll see what the local specialists tell me and keep everyone informed as fast I can.

What about this month update?

Too early to say, sorry, but as usual I'll keep people appraised, if it's just a story of component to change it might still happen, but I think the highest probability is that I might be short for time.

What's the worse prognostic?

Without talking about a financial cost for me of rebuying a setup, the worse would be a full loss of data. I regularly backup my work on another hardrive, but didn't fully last month, so if it comes to this I might have to redo a full month of work with the part of the school scene I'll have to redo of this month. But my big hangup is potentially on Myriam herself, if the drive I'm working on is fried I might have to recreate her because of course I'm an absolute ass and didn't back her model. (But let's not fall into despair, there's little chance the hardrive I'm working on fried and even if it did there's still methods to get back some, if not most, of the data).

And financially?

Well, if it's just a component to buy, I'll be just fine, if it's a full setup, it'll be harder but possible, though I don't see it happening. But let's not skin the bear before killing it and wait for the diagnostic... I'll keep everyone posted.

Conclusion...

I'm pissed beyond belief, but nothing I can do about it, I can only apologize for this and ask for your patience while I'm doing my best fixing this as fast as I can. I thank you all for all the support you gave me until now and cannot wait to get back to work.

I'm sorry, man. Hang tough. My TV just suddenly died yesterday so I'm headed to the store tomorrow to pick up a new one. Not the same level of frustration as you're doing work on your electronics but I feel ya.

DoubleU

Sorry to hear, hopefully it's a minor component that is easy to replace.

That's very generous of you, I'm not sharing the situation for this but just to keep people appraised... That being said, it will definitely help, thank you.
