So...

Where we at?

Short version, not solved... Longer version, the computer is in the hands of professionals, and at last news, it could be still either the processor or the mother board, so they have to order a new compatible processor to test out first.

Any good news from this?

Well, yeah, at least from the other possible causes to the problem they eliminated the hard drive, which means that at least I have no data and resources loss, a big reassurance for me and for the game.

Any time table?

It's taking a bit longer that I had hoped, as they can't exactly situate the problem yet and have to eliminate them one by one the causes. So, at best it's pushing us into next week... Believe me, I am following up. ^^

What about the coming update?

Hard to have a clear plan yet schedule wise, the good thing is that I will not have to redo what I already did, the bad thing is that I'm yet to know when I'll be able to get back to it (though I don't see this taking more than a week more I would say... Well, I hope at least).

But anyway it will probably leave me short for this month I think, which brings me to the second subject of the post I wanted to get to...

Oh boy! What else?

Nothing problematic, don't worry. ^^

Maybe some of you will remember, but May is usually my vacation month with my brother and some of our buddies, has been scheduled for month now and in a way it kind of fall at an (in)opportunite time. We usually take a full week geeking in May (or November depending) and nearly another one to prepare for it. For this I always merged the May update with another to avoid making it an extra short one.

What's good about this for us?

Well, first, as I'm now in technical limbo work wise, all the days lost of work are going into the preparation time I would have taken next month to prepare for my geeking week, which means I'm trying my hardest to optimise my time so that it's not lost and can be technically retrieved later on.

Secondly, it would be a nice save to be able to merge two potential smaller updates into a bigger one, without having to stress out on my schedule.

Anything else?

Well, no... That's about it, I'm annoyed and frustrated by the fact of not being able to work and deeply apologized about it, I'm trying to make the better of it as can't abide doing nothing.

I thank you all for your patience, understanding and support, I cannot express how grateful I am for all the words and gestures of support I received, I am eternally grateful for the opportunity and adventure your support has permitted me to explore and cannot wait to get back to work.

As soon as I get more information about my computer I will keep you all informed, meanwhile I'll try my best to optimize this time to not have it lost for nothing as I said and take some advance one the one I would have potentially lost next month.
