Garrett's hatred of Joel Grey really colored this episode, unfortunately, even to his "takeaway" part. If Janeway was honest to any of the Mokra she would be arrested, would've broken an old guy's heart, and wouldn't have been able to break Torres and Tuvok out of prison. Usually, Garrett's got a pretty good analysis, but I can understand why not for this episode. Just listening to the audio every time Robbie names "Joel Gray" I could just visualize Garret cringing :D Also to Robbie: I don't think you liking these past few episodes is you going easy, I think it means VOY is improving. However, where I disagreed (or rather it felt kinda forced) was the complimenting of Jennifer Lien's character, Kes. It was mentioned 3 times as being surprising/forgetting how "important" she was in the first season. It just feels like you guys are able to be more critical of all the other characters except her. Her storyline was practically over the first episode (COLD FIRE being the exception). Other than that it was telepathic this telepathic that. Very bland, even when Seven shows up it's all just telepathy removing implants telepathy exploding the ship. To me, Kes had the weakest plot lines and she was completely underutilized. This is definitely NOT on the actress at all.

Love this episode too. Gray’s acting in his room at one point is just plain spot on.

Scott Adams

You guys said "Joel Gray" so often that I was afraid you'd conjure him like Beetlejuice.

Marian Bieniek

This is a really good episode for the reason Robbie gives, so many of the characters are given a chance to shine in this one!

The proliferation of balluses and blitorises as seen in various forms of art and architecture are not solely in Garrett's head, alas. If humanity is amazingly talented at one thing, it's making everything look like their genitals. ps: and now I really wanna go watch Seinfeld.
